I have a high schooler this year and I can confirm with Tanya that yes I do about six hours of studying to teach him the next week. I love it, but desperately wish for local resources.

Very good overall.
I don’t appreciate all the apprehension about homeschooling high school. We need more people to understand how much the curriculum is written to the student, with an assumption that there is no EXPERT in the room. Yes, out source what the student needs more help with but most of high school - and I mean college prep- is absolutely do-able because the curriculum IS the teacher in homeschooling, very thorough.
I feel weary of so many people being afraid of homeschooling high school when it gives that student so much more time for extra curricular activities or jobs or hobbies and SLEEP that can help them be well prepared for making a good decision for their futures.
Just like Martin I hear voices when I read too! I assumed everyone did that, guess not 😂
