I was once so close to forming the french empire once. Japan invaded Indochina and there weren't much troops there. Even with the help of the Khmer empire we still lost.

Your ships don’t attrition up near Russia and Alaska, just that the troops won’t listen up there and go straight through Russia.

yea sometimes troops wont follow where you want them to go, I've lost so many battles cause of that it's so annoying
for some reason if you draw a path, but end it on troops from another country, your troops will always follow a straight line there. Idk why

I formed it 2 times the first one was so much pain because russia was expanding into Europe and i almost died when i wasgetting india low stab hits and i amost cried because it took me 2 hours to get half of the countrys then the second was a little easy because my friend helped me to get Austrian and new Zealand and some islands
If you think this is bad, Try forming the mongol empire, You essentially have to use a country with the same caliber as a small island to take down the greatest troop spammer and massive land CHINA, it can be really difficult to form it alone

I actually formed it once. I was just playing UK out of randomness and after annexing much of Western Europe, I began to slowly dive down into the insanity that is forming the British Empire...

I had an excellent opportunity to form it today when i owned literally 2/3 of the entire earth but i still needed like 30 countries and said “ah fuck that” and quit.
Edit: after almost 2 years, i have done it (Left the game for more than year so its not like i was playing this whole time.)

if you do the form line to move ur troops, you cant end it while selecting another troop if that makes sense. otherwise it just goes in a straight line

When I tried to form the british empire I decided to form the north sea empire before that and when I started colonizing Kush threatened me because I was taking African land even though I was way stronger at that point and could destroy him with my navy and while that was happening russia declared war on all of europe. The was would have been easy but he was kind of smart and he used planes, artillery, and scorching so I was not able to get deep into russian territory because I had no fighters and was depending on my ships to destroy their planes He almost won and took basically all of europe except for me but he had no ships and I had 35 so I was able to protect myself. In the middle of that war Kush declared but my navy was tied up in europe so I was not able to invade Kush so it was a stalemate until USA helped me with Kush and Russia. As soon as the war with Russia ended I used my navy to deal with kush but he white peaced as soon as I did that and I accepted because I was busy and he declared a liberation war so I could not just take all of his land. After that I conquered India. This type of random stuff happens every time I try to make the british empire. It ended when my internet hated me and decided to just kick me

Well Mongolia is the biggest formable in RON because it makes you annex all of China AND Russia, combined with like 23 other countries who are not small and highly populated and IRAN with its mountains The only thing that makes the British Empire pain is time consumption, where as Mongolia has the calibur of a small island despite being the 18th largest country. And surrounded by 2 superpowers.

yeah the british empire is so painful to form because you will have to capture so many countries and ur army will take so long to reach the other country on the other side of the world which adds 100+ pain
