From my experience, when you click war reps on 25% (any year I do .5), It usually will actually give you a bit, although it's not much. You can test this out by conquering a nation then pressing E quickly for the economy tab, and you should get x amount of money from war rep, but I could be wrong
thats from trade income, as its the only type of income thats not immediately affected when you conquer the country. However once a country runs out of the goods hes selling his income goes 0 and u get 0 war reps from him

Hello, just wanted to give in a tip, You should change your capital to Pretoria and fortify the crap out of the the city, it is much harder to take and bloemfontein is a small city, whenever you conquer a city its best do destroy factories instead of scorching the city, you gain war exhaustion. (good video though)

South Africa is a country i often play because you can get such a big economy playing it, though you do have to worry about Gold Coast/Sokoto Caliphate players that take over half of Africa within a year.
Playing South Africa is very fun. Conquering Africa is kinda easy so you have a ton of resources for money and stuff then can go after Europe or americas
