This makes be beleive that we are actually fighting a wounded and weakened Crow after his fight with Eileen and that scares me most of all.
Guess that's why he only had 1 blood vial left.
He just lowered the Bloody Crow's health. In Lady Marria video he had 14k HP, here he has 3,5k while Eileen has almos 10k.
@@mateusfolletto6142 in the lady Maria fight he had 4X his normal Health in this fight he has his base health while she has 3x her normal Health. Plus he's gave him more than 1 Vile

@@mee091000 To be fair, he has 1 vial which heals 40% health. That brings him up to 4.5K health total in a less efficient format than just starting with that, and it's less than half of Eileen's. Also, the reason he has that vial is because he has a self damaging weapon. This isn't fair.
@@TheStraightestWhitest To be fair, Eileen's damage is way lower than the Crow's, if she didn't have 3x her usual HP she would have died in 4 hits and that would have been extremely unfair, but in a balanced match like this, where each one takes about the same % of their oponents health, her AI ends up outplaying the Crow's

I like to imagine that the reason she has 3x hp is because she is not old, but young again in this dream, fighting with the strength of youth and evening out the odds against that slimy Bloody Crow with his infinite Old Hunter Bone and Repeating Pistol spam.

Maiden Astraea's 2.0 theme actually works really well in this setting.
Much better than in Demon's Souls. Their soundtrack is great, most of it just doesn't fit Demon's Souls well.

@@sharkguy666 The Blood Vials are a part of the fight, and she ended both fights with heavy damage. She did a great job, I'm not discounting that, but she could not have won without that HP boost.
@@occultnightingale1106 Also the HP boost is a normalizing factor in these videos. If you watch others, lots of bosses are HP boosted or lowered to even their HP playing field.

I kinda hate that's the best move the weapons have damage wise, but she used a good variety of attacks (my personal favorite being the back step attack she used to stager the crow).

@@piotrlatuszek171 I just loved the whole bossfight everything was done right, I really wish we had more backstory of her, since I see her the best in term of skills(illusion, kunai, step on silk, the crazy steps attack) , and butterfly always means beauty or brilliant life, the little spot she had compared to Sekijo(sculptar) or Isshin kinda annoyed, sadly she lived a senguku life when everyone was a victim to bloodshed.
she is the third because of DoH is just a souls boss with that lore, and kensei Isshin was great, but honestly I love her and I think Owl just cheated her all along, I think she was supposed to be a deer trainer to the wolf, the developers need to explain more.

By the time Eileen actually fought the crow in the game, she was tired from fighting in the tomb of Oedon and she was past her prime.
I'd like to think that if Eileen had fought the crow in her prime, this is how it would have gone.
Probably not if the Bloody Crow was the previous Hunter of Hunters as the evidence suggests. That would mean he trained Eileen.

@@dylanehooverlibrarian7026 he uses the same coat as Eileen, and his Cainhurst helmet slightly resembles crow's beak. Hunters of hunters are said to always dress up as crows. So I think he's hunter of hunters except he works for Cainhurst instead of Healing church, like Eileen does. Healing church and Cainhurst are sworn enemies which could explain why Eileen wanted to hunt him down, but understimated him. But he's from Cainhurst so I doubt he could ever be Eileen's mentor or anything like it
@@b_marble9974 Eileen doesn’t work for the healing church and nothing suggests the crow was the previous hunter of hunter, especially since nothing indicates there can be only one at a time.
It’d make just as much sense if the crow stole his mantle from a hunter of hunter he killed.
@@nathanjora7627 If she doesn't work for the Healing church she works for the Workshop, because her weapon was made in Workshop. Blade of mercy description says it's being passed down among hunters of hunters, which means only one can exist at a time, and when he dies he passes the blades to a new hunter of hunters, 2 people can't wield a one of a kind weapon at the same time after all.
I didn't say Bloody crow was Eileen's predecessor, because he's from Cainhurst which is a completely separate entity from both the Healing church and Workshop. Cainhurst knights hunt and kill hunters to steal their blood dregs and offer them to their queen. But these knights work the same way as hunters, they take damage, they heal themselves with blood, and if they use too much blood they go mad or turn into beats. When this happens Cainhurst sends their own hunter of hunters, who this time is the Bloody crow, to kill the mad knights. I know they're not exactly knights, they're just Cainhurst type of hunters that use fancy weapons and clothes, but they're called knights for their appearances, as knight's set description states.
So I don't think it's too far fetched to say Cainhurst don't have their own hunter of hunters.
But basically 2 hunters of hunters can exist at the same time, but they must work for separate organizations, Bloody crow is Cainhurst's hunter of hunters, and Eileen is Workshop's hunter of hunters, both use different weapons and tools tied to their respective organizations, but they both work in the same field of operation.

It's stunning how Eileen predicted every dodge he made and lunged at him exactly when he finished his dodge. Not that Cainhurst was a slacker either. Almost got the second round with that Riposte.

I don’t care that Eileen had to have a health boost to win, I’m glad the best character of this game won the day ^^
Also, her fighting style meshes so well with her gear it’s unreal, especially when she’s used the retreat move, it makes her look like a bird flying away, it’s awesome.

I think both camera modes in the fights were good, however I think I slightly prefer the first one a little bit more since it doesn't move as much and seems more stable. The 2nd one has more FOV which is an upside though.
Also just an obligatory fight suggestion. What about Yurie VS Damian of Mensis? Or perhaps the 2 prospectors NPC's Gremia and Olek VS Forgotten Madman and his escort. Also ty for these videos!

Eileen in her prime was a Hunter to behold alright, no doubt she can take on Henryk and Crow, but age have not been kind to her and she is outmatched at her age. Good thing she got a companion to help her out when she need help huh? A nameless Hunter, who wander the streets humming a tone from a musicbox as a reminder of those he is unable to protect and those that can still be protected.
Never done the playthrough where I face Eileen instead.
And now I'm scared to...
I haven’t either but now I’m curious , by this it seems she’s more relentless than the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst himself :0 Will definitely be fighting her next play through!

It would have been putting her at all odds with no health boost so in order to make it fair for both , I understand why this happened. (Even with the health boost I think Bloody Crow had more health then Eileen due to using vials)
I’ve never had the chance to fight her either so I’d really want to try it for the experience , and with each NG+ run (until NG+6) the enemies and games get progressively harder. I still haven’t reached that stage yet.
Her moveset and fighting style would be new to me and set a new challenge in the game.

Not gonna lie... I hate this sentence.
"Opinions" can be discussed, and although some are entirely subjective and thus warrant no discussion, at least not in and of themselves (ex : "I like blue", in itself you can't discuss that, but if you said "I like burgers", then although you can't discuss the fact that I like burgers, you can argue wether it's good for me or not to eat them, but it's still separated from the opinion itself, it's just a side consequence), many aren't subjective, or are from shared subjectivities (for example many people prefer their stories to make sense, they don't like characters to gain or lose abilities or motivations out of nowhere, thus even if you might call this "subjective", it's functionally useless to bring up this part of subjectivity since it's not the conversation stopper).
If you literally just mean "it's okay to disagree"... Then yeah, sure, but that's pointless, of course it's okay to disagree, at least for small stuff like that.

I never stated the Crow or Eileen would be easier or harder. I used the term ‘relentless’ to describe that she gives less room for breathing and to gain stamina (compared to the Bloody crow) from seeing her fighting style. Maybe ‘relentless’ was the wrong word to express this I must admit. More like Eileen’s fighting style is rather adamant per say?

I’m afraid I never once stated that I was the one afraid of fighting her nor expressed the opinion that I agree with that notion. My words exactly were in response to haven’t ever fighting Eileen before and hence I’m excited to do so on my next play through.

Actually no , this wasn’t the case! He used two vials in the first round and one in the second!
I paid attention specifically to this detail to find out if the crow actually vial spams or not. (As I’ve only seen him heal once in my fights but others claim something else)

I also had the same problem when wanting to fight some of my favourite NPC’s (Valtr , Simon and Normal Alfred (as I didn’t feel as bad killing the one with the wheel) just to give myself a taste of how difficult they could be and I was dreading the fact that I would be on negative terms with my favourite people in game. None the less it did prove for an epic battle and to make up for aggroing them I won’t ever do it again.
Maybe one day you’ll do the same or maybe the guilt would keep you from it! I still feel quite guilty for aggroing Alfred and Simon though :( (I do for Valtr but his fight is damn good and leads up to the Madaras twin fight which is also great!)
