- A lost Orphan, all alone in the nightmare. To protect his mother's corpse from the Old Hunters, the newborn Great One must fight the Old Hunters to the death!
I apologize for the audio cutting off in some parts of the fight, but the PS4 doesn't seem to handle that many enemies at the same time well. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out something in the future, but for now, I hope you all enjoy this little test to see what we are capable of achieving!

Hello all! You will notice in the video some audio glitches, which is mostly caused because of the PS4's limited hardware.
Think of this more of a test bed to see what we are capable of doing in the future with the PS4 hardware, and generally it looks very promising!

Didn't actually mind the audio cutting out. If anything, I felt like it added to the atmosphere and experience. Great video, man, this is insane!

Lmao this deserves a lot more likes. Fun/useless fact: When I was frustrated with the bosses I switched to quick weapons, ignored all and hit the boss while saying Away Away out loud. 🤣

I've been coming up with a story that is inspired by Bloodborne & works by H.P Lovecraft. The story is called "Hunters of Cosmos" & their motto is "we live & fight for the mortal, to track & hunt the immortal, we fear no death, for we hunt death, we are the Hunters of Cosmos". What do yous think?

Also I will risk to guess, you're very young, maybe teen, watch too much anime. I say this because oof the perspective you have on death and immortals.
Someo said something like "the young are eager to face war because they have never lived and experienced the horrors it brings". Or something like that.
Also hunting something that is supposed to be dangerous should be treated with more respect. By that long pompous motto I could guess those supposedly immortals are... Weak, non threating, easy to defeat.
Death. Dude, ¿Is death the worst possible thing you think a Bloodborne/Lovecraftian would come up? Have you read Lovecraft?? He doesn't write about young people hunting and killing, he writes about men having their minds and souls tormented to the brink of insanity and eternal pain.
Or do you think "Lovecraftian" refers to evil out of the world, out of space and time, and dimensional monsters that can be hunted and killed just like that?
I recommend you to read Lovecraft to know what he writes. And watch some movies inspired by his work.
You will see TERROR, FEAR, DESPAIR in the characters, not bragging or arrogance. Even in Bloodborne its stated that some character have big traumas. German offers you to free you from the nightmare, and when you refuse German realize you have no traumas because you have forsaken humanity and have become a monster.

Even tho Orphan lost this one, this fight displays how much of a unit he is, being able to crowd control the whole group of hunters effectively with his various combos

Doesn't a boss get stronger the more companions you have? I don't know if this battle has different codings but if it follows the same principles as a normal play then the orphan's health and strength was boosted proportinal to th amount of hunters.

@@saadkhalid7734 the Orphan in the curse is more like an embodiment of the old hunter's sin. It moves like a hunter, it even has something similar to a trick weapon. Since it's a Great One it took a different form in the hunter's nightmare... becoming a hunter's worst nightmare

Old Hunters: "We are walking out of this Nightmare, even if we have to use your body as a doormat!"
We all struggled with this fight but given the opportunity to hire the Old Hunter Squad to do it for us, we all would have saved so many hours of our time trying to beat him once.
I really wish they gave us the boomhammer hunter's hat.

I was too not going to lie I thought he was definitely winning with his super saiyan phase thing but I guess not
I honestly thought Orphan would win, but to see 6 out of the 10 hunters alive at the end was even more of a surprise
they had thier health and defenses jacked up massively.

That part made me lmao. I did the same thing. Me and a buddy were helping someone out(it was their first playthrough of the dlc) with orphan. We got orphan down to 1hp and then i got distracted by the moon. All of a sudden , i hear 2 death screams and get the message "return to own world". Needless to say, the guy was pissed lol.

I think the reason why the Orphan is having bad match ups against NPCs is that his strongest attack, the lightning strike targets the player at the camera and basically avoids everything else dealing no damage
For every one of them, we lost three score of our own.
Interesting that the Orphan started doing worse when he entered second phase. Doesn't have the same range and aoe attacks

Strength in numbers. A hunter can't always fight alone. Sometimes a helping hand can benefit all against Overwhelming odds.
The baby's like 1min old and takes on an mob of veteran tier hunters. Imagine grown up one xD
The blood created is definitely by far more than their total body volume. They should help the Church create blood for Yharnam...

This vid kind of perfectly encapsulates the difficulty of any 3 players vs 1 boss fights throughout Bloodborne; one big staggerfest

I enjoy these kinds of fights so if possible do more of these the sound for me isn't really necessary music is all that's needed and I'll watch it

Guys doesn't anyone notice something strange in these fights? It looks like many of the enemies pause after they attack instead of following up the combos as they normally do. I've noticed it in many of the videos thus far

The craziest part about this is that I had to do that BY MYSELF.
It’s kind of terrifying how well the Old Hunters synergies with each other, constantly dashing in and out while keeping the pressure on from both mid and long range
Considering the intro to Orphan was a recreation of how Guts was born this is a great tribute to the Berserk series.

I think in the game, Kos was killed by Gehrman and that the Orphan is essentially Gehrman's nightmare.

For whatever reason, my brain added "year" after 12, and my first thought was: "Oh, no! The younglings!"
This made me realise how cool a raid boss would be in bloodborne well in the soulsborne serie in general like a huge boss with a lot of HP and you are like 10 players to take it down

Great fight I wasn't sure the hunters would be able to pull it off
I feel like a scene like this wouldve been great ingame even if it was enemy vs enemy, a massive fight
Couldve worked to introduce a boss just wiping out a group of hunters, a mob of yharnamites fighting beasts (which is what they were supposed to be doing) or even some ally hunters helping you against an unique enemy like the crow hunter quest
I really liked this fight, now I just wanna see Orphan juggling crowds of various enemies, maybe pthumeru descendents?
