- The Archer Artillery System is a self-propelled howitzer developed by the Swedish military. The system consists of a fully automated 155 mm L52 gun-howitzer and an M151 Protector remote-controlled weapon station on a modified 6x6 chassis of the Volvo A30D all-terrain articulated carrier. The crew and engine compartments are armoured, and the cab has bullet- and fragmentation-resistant windows. An ammo resupply vehicle, a support vehicle, BONUS submunitions, and M982 Excalibur guided projectiles are all part of the system.

The British Royal Artillery are buy these as a gap filler and are currently training on these in sweden at the moment
Truck mounted artillery has an advantage over tracked artillery on roadways, but iss disadvantaged off roads. Other advantages often overlooked are lower maintenance and better fuel mileage.
Also much easier to redeploy. Tracked vehicles are need trucks or trains to move them long distances. With wheels you can just drive them to new position.

Yep. Let me tell you, it is really nerve racking driving an armored vehicle onto a truck. Had the driver stand on top the truck cab guiding me on to the bed. At one point all I could see was sky and had to just continue blind till teh track rotated back down.

It was not France that delivered the Caesar pamphlets to Ukraine. It was Denmark. Denmark had ordered 19, had a few delivered, and the rest were/are being sent directly from the factory in France to Ukraine, while the Ukrainian crew was trained on the units Denmark had received. But it is Denmark that is bought and paid for! Denmark then bought Israeli Elbit systems instead, probably because Archer could not be delivered within a short period of time. After all, the British had orders, and they can't make more than they can make ;-). A fact that many in Denmark have probably overlooked, because there is a hell of a fuss about why Archer has not been bought instead of Elbit's system.

@@inf11One was damaged in the rear compartment and is being repaired, it never had to stop due to the damage being limited to the gun compartment which was empty of shells and charges, the other footage was from a lancelet drone shot down midair about 300 meters from the unit.

Can it do time on target by itself?
if u ment if it can calculate prejectorys and timing, ofc, it can hit moving targets, but i cant give any details for obvious reasons...

Time on target is when several guns from various locations and distances coordinate their fire so all the shells to land at the same time on target.
I am wondering if this single gun can fire at different angles so that all of its shells land at the same time on a target.
@@ycplum7062 yes it can, and as u also said sevral can be used aswell in (MLSI Multiple Launch Simultaneously Impact) .. or u can blanked an area with coordinated batteries..

Looks awfully cramped spaces. See ially if you are VOR (Vehicle Off Road) and may be an unknown amount of recovery timing.
Its not cramped at all. Easy to move around in the cabin. A personell of 4 could easily oparate it simultaneusly
