- In this video, I decided to make a last-minute video of me eating delicious Filipino McDonald's, as well as catching a beautiful evening sunset around BGC.
Come along for a fun food video. Let me know what you think about McDonald's chicken. Is it better than Jollibee? Better than KFC? I think it's definitely one of the best!
And last but not least, let's stroll around the evening streets of BGC for some calm vibes during the Christmas season. The lights and atmosphere sure is beautiful at this time of the year. Although it's a bit sad that this will be my last time seeing them, I am glad to have experienced what Metro Manila has to offer during the Christmas season.

Comment your favorite fast food in the world.
I love Chick Filet Company Their Chicken Nuggets is the best They give you a real chicken and slightly Battered , Unlike McDonald’s theirs Nuggets is Process..✌️👌👍👍👍
Ah yes the place that isn't open on Sundays. My favorite.
Mcdonalds because of top tier service in the branch near me, i became friends with the manager and his staff after the kiddy crew program with my niece, i gave them a thank u cake and the rest is history. But when Texas was here i loved it so much, KFC is the most generous with the gravy before u can even pass around the gravy kettle in the table.
@@MattReardonVlogs yes they don’t open on Sundays Coz the Owners is Catholic , Sundays is For Church 🙏
Jollibee
Jollibee still no.1 here in the Philippines and around the world.love Jollibee forever 👍👍👍
Hahaha yes and it's opening more locations internationally.
I used to eat McDonald's chicken more in the past, but now Jollibee has also captured me🤣🤣
Hahaha but they both have tasty items so I can see why
Not too many choices at McDonald’s in the 🇵🇭. I prefer Mang Inasal bbq chicken 💛 Also love their chicken empanada and halo halo 😂.
Ah yeah you are right. A lot of items are similar. Mang Inasal is good. I haven't had an empanada since latin america.
Thank you for your delicious vlog, you are making everybody hungry, including me
Hahaha hope you can find a good meal soon :)
Have a wonderful Christmas in the Ph
Thanks you too!
Quality control is a major issue in provincial cities, chicken can be too small and the taste can vary. But McDonalds chicken is still great. But it was better the times it had more peppers, and the herb taste. Plus the gravy was thicker, they turned it into a soup. The rice is too oppressive and the price is something very Filipinos can afford. But Jollibee is just as expensive. Fast food need to get cheaper so more Filipinos cant afford to eat them not only on pay day, bdays, baptism, and weddings.
Ah I see what you mean. I think the rice is a bit soft of mushy at times. But I guess the gravy helps get the taste down.
❤❤❤
:)
I love Mcdo fried chicken coz it’s crunchy and crispy but i love the pies and burger steak at jollibbee
The burger steak is also good!
Not a Big Fan of MCDONALD, But The Asian McDonald’s is Different From The USA Thanks for sharing your experience 🎄🎁🌲🎁🎄🎁🌲
That's right. Thanks for watching!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Happy holidays! :)
McDonald's is just dependent to Jollibee here in the Philippines. Their chicken somehow matches w/ Jollibee's, and their stores always comes after Jollibee's. My municipality is a testament to that.
Ohh you're observant 😅.but it's true.
Right. So when they build another Jollibee, they build another McDonald's? Something like that?
Competitive
@@MattReardonVlogs kinda. McDonald's is the strongest among the international stores. KFC is about to rise here while Wendy's clains they are the largest wordwide and yet they don't have store here. Just my observation.
Wendys is in the airport though. They are tasty too.
if ure still in Manila, u could explore Alabang via a P2P bus from Market Market or Greenbelt, (point to point bus), its to alabang and vice versa with no other stops, very convenient. U will get off at Alabang Town Center beside Molito Alabang and its one jeep ride away from Festival Mall Riverpark and Alabang Market. 15-25mins away only from Greenbelt Makati or Market Market.
I think I will do more exploring of outside areas on my next visit to this area. That's one of the areas I want to visit. Maybe even spend a few days in the area.
@@MattReardonVlogs yes overnight or 2 at azure hotel (rooftop pool) or Bhotel .
Hi Matt you really look great on all your videos.. hope to bumped up with you somewhere
Hello! Thanks! 😃
“Daddy’s car, of course”. 😅😅
Hahahaha
Before Jollybee and Mcdonald there's Wendy's the most popular. I like Wendy's salad selection and their signature ice tea. There's 2 outlet in glorietta and another in greenbelt. Also in Cubao, Festival mall, Shangrila Mall and SM megamall to name a few.
Ah cool so there are more locations. I saw the first one in Eastwood City and the airport so far.
Hi Matt no criminal instead chicken laughter
Chicken n Mcdonald r my Ferrari lambhorgini
hahahah
bad translation?
Mcdo is part of the Filipino culture and Mcdo here is Filipinize so you're still eating Filipino food.
Ahhh ok cool
My favorite is mc donalds over Jollibee.😊😊😊
That's the real question for everybody. Which is preferred? haha
Not a big Fan of Fastfood but sure it’s looks good 😂😅😂👍👍👍
Same. Sometimes i'll have it a couple times in a month, then other times not for 6+ months.
Chicken Mc do ❤
tasty!
I'm not a fan of meecdonalds , only solid jollibee I eats
Haha to each their own 😂😝
Love mcdonals fries not a fan of chicken..try MANG INASAL CHICKEN GRILL so popular in the Philippines
Wow really? Do you prefer Jollibee chicken? Mang Inasal is good too. Healthier as well.
Mang Inasal Good ?
I thought it was tasty! Except you must work hard to get your chicken off the bone as it is a bit flattened haha
4321K new subscriber here. Curious to follow how you will grow🙂 as a vlogger. Funny.....this video is all about the crunchiness of McDo chicken in Philippines 👍
Hahaha yes we will see. Well, I changed the thumbnail and stuff because not many people care about trying mcdonalds I guess. Good think I put time stamps in every video
By the way, I think you can ask an extra gravy next time you order chicken at McDo again 👌
Unfortunately, Jollibee's food quality has steadily declined over the years while also getting more expensive than its competition. Add to that the fact that Jollibee hires their staff on a service-of-contract basis, unlike McDonald's that actually follows the promulgated labor laws in the country.
If they do not address their issues locally and instead focus on their international expansion, there might come a time that for the first time, McDonald's actually trumps Jollibee on its home turf.
Wow that is crazy. Didn't know that. Well for the sake of it's popularity and being from the Philippines, I hope it can do better and remain afloat as the #1 in the Philippines.
