Robert, I‘m from Switzerland, and live in Albuqeruqe for the last 25 years . Your video about „my“ city is so great! Was a vivid fan of Breaking Bad!! Truly appreciated you mentioning, that the Tram was built by a Swiss company. Proud you spent precious time of your travels in this beautiful „Duke“-City in the land of Enchantment!!
We loved reliving our ABQ visit through your video. It's such a beautiful area and we saw most of the same sites. One of our favourite sites was the singing highway. It's so cool! Too bad you missed it, but you can't do everything/
Thank you, Robert, for showing some of the good places to see in Albuquerque. I have lived here 65 years and have seen too many changes. Next time you pass through try driving up to the Crest on the back side of the mountain. For those of you who read through the comments, The Braking Bad Tour costs $75.00 USD. 06:20 I live within walking distance of this place. When Filming was being done, we would get a notice on our fences of when we could leave our homes and when we could not. If you want to see our greatest event you need to be here the first weekend of October for a week of skies filled with Hot Air Balloons. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Mass ascensions are done on Saturday and Sundays both weekends and at least one night for a balloon glow. There is RV Parking at the site. My favorites have always been the special shape balloons.
Robert ! Thank you for sharing the Sandía mountain experience under that cold weather conditions, I love it !!! I visited it during one hot summer ; if it is not for you , we don’t have the cold weather experience , view :) thank you for do it for us !! :) Always a loyal fan !
Enjoyed this video. The last time I was in ABQ. I ate at Rosa’s Mexican Restaurant on Route 66. It was fantastic. I like Santa Fa, Taos and ABQ. New Mexico is a beautiful state. I love it there.
Great video! Enjoyed the Breaking Bad locations. On a cross country bicylling trip we biked through Albuquerque and for a big city it was easy to bike through. We went to the movies one night while there and when we came out of the movie theater after dark we could see the whole city below..Looking forward to Santa Fe as we also biked through there and loved the Spanish architecture.
We visited the ABQ area and most of the BB sites that you did. It was a great trip. We did the Sandia tram also but the day we went our weather was a lot milder. You were very brave in that bitter cold. Great video !
El Pinto Restaurant is fabulous, not fast junk food, traditional New Mexican food in a beautiful adobe estate type setting, good bar w/ appetizer buffet. Friends that lived there for years told us about. El Pinto years ago, a must visit! Northwest part of town near the Fair grounds .
Hello Traveling Robert. Albuquerque is AWESOME! And we definitly need to visit Santa Fe before you go to Texas. Robert, this was Amazing! Cant wait to see whats next.
Bernalillo! We stayed at the Coronado campground a month ago. Very nice, and much cheaper than KOA. We were just passing through, but I wouldn't have minded spending a couple of days there.
Was just at Noisy Water last week, bought a case of Jo Mammas Sweet Red Wine, love that place. Did you see the Breaking Bad store in Old Town? They have an amazing collection/museum as part of the store.
A fun fact : My longest ever CB RADIO contact from near arctic circle Finland has been to guy in Albuquerque NM, nice to see surroundings on live video ! Have been doing some scouting on google maps before : )
Hey Robert, happy Sunday. Good to spend a little time in ABQ with you this morning. I like the white picket-fenced shortcut to the brewery and the "a long drive deserves a beer" sign--a sentiment I can certainly get behind. I found Old Town a bit too commercialized, but the New Mexico Natural History and Albuquerque Museums just a couple blocks away are well worth checking out. Neat to see those Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul locations. When I was there I came across them filming at the Crossroads Motel...they had Howard Hamlin's Jag with the "Namast3" plates parked out front. The ride to the top of Sandia Peak was more than cool (pun intended) they're not kidding around with the "exposed skin will freeze in less than 20 minutes" warning. Regarding Petroglyph National Monument, it's interesting that you describe it as being "right in the middle of town". When I first went there it was kind of way out in the boonies...just goes to show how much urban sprawl has happened in the last 30 years. Until next time, happy trails!
Its was cool to see the locations from both shows. The pizza on the roof is a great idea Robert. I don't know about you but the ending of Better Call Saul was rather disappointing. Even if you don't agree, "its all good man".
The great city of "I'll be quirky". I hope the people that bought Walter White's house knew what they were buying. Otherwise, it could be a nightmare purchase if they don't embrace the tourism. They should probably keep a pizza on the garage roof just for effect along with a statue of Walter throwing it up there. (I think Bryan Cranston said it was only one take for that toss to work.)

Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
The Tram ride and views of the mountains and snowy videos was excellent. Great video Robert!

Every tram way I have been to in many countries have a plaque about being built by Garaventa, Switzerland. Impressive.

Another great video, Robert! I’ve always enjoyed my stays in Albuquerque.
Your travel videos busts my stress
I get that, LOL. I tune in to your travels as a getaway that is interesting and soothing both to the eyes and soul :)
I like that you're not a showman Robert. You're a cool, nice guy that any one of us would enjoy being friends with. Thanks for your awesome videos!!
A Route 66 trip would make for a great video series. I liked hearing the techno version of Riding In My Rv, even if it was only for 10 secs, ha.
Watch Nomadic Fanatic, he does a lot of Route 66 trips.
@@mr.p9882 Hey thanks for the tip.
Beautiful tram trip ❤
beautiful scenery......love the petroglyph national park the little u showed.

We've been looking forward to this episode.
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺
Robert: "Have you seen Walter?"
Cow: "It's another one of those damn tourists, Martha!"
Greta video Robert. And yes, I would patiently wait in a rte. 66 series.
Bernalillo! We stayed at the Coronado campground a month ago. Very nice, and much cheaper than KOA. We were just passing through, but I wouldn't have minded spending a couple of days there.
Watching your Utah, Colorado and New Mexico videos seems to suggest April has lots of days with overcast skies.
Thank you for this tour. We moved to Albuquerque two years ago and still have not explored as much as you did in two days! 😂
That cow ain't talking. What happens in the desert, stays in the desert!
Was just at Noisy Water last week, bought a case of Jo Mammas Sweet Red Wine, love that place. Did you see the Breaking Bad store in Old Town? They have an amazing collection/museum as part of the store.
Very nice! Keep going!
Another great video!!
Brooklyn Bedding is the best. I will always buy their stuff. Amazing they sponsored. Love the view and I wish to see snow. ❤

Loved all the breaking bad spots you showed us, thanks for taking us along your journey Robert👍
I really enjoyed the the segment it was really funny
I love Albuquerque. I lived there for 12 years. My parents would stay at that KOA when they would visit me.
Forgot to mention, I became an American citizen with the ceremony held at the Petroglyphs Monument Arena! /
Thanks for saving up my boring Sunday with new content 😅☺️
Thank you
Mr. Robert. 🍻

If you did do a Route 66 trip in Galena KS they have a Cars themed area right off Route 66 , with Mater, Lightning, Doc, and I believe Filmore!
Hi, Robert , I think you missed the laundry shop where the secret lab is and where walter and jessie worked 🙂
This is up to Traveling Robert's standards
I would have loved to have treated you to an IPA while you were in my hometown! I wish I had known you were here! 😭
I've been missing some RT 66 series.

Enough of Breaking Bad Robert, dumb show about drug criminals that you advertise.
Dumb to you, a masterpiece to many of us.
