Tyler is so awesome. He's always giving stuff away, promoting the arts, and encouraging people to learn. I haven't played guitar in years despite loving it. I had to sell all my guitars when I got really sick a few years ago to pay medical bills. I'm disabled now and on a fixed income. So winning a free one is probably the only way I'm ever going to own a nice guitar. I didn't mean to make that a sob story. I'm just saying I appreciate what he does trying to get instruments into as many hands as possible.
I waited a year for my Serus J. Just got it 2 weeks ago. $4450, and worth every penny. 3 Lollar Gold Foil pickups and some crazy switching. Flame maple neck, chunky .880. Weighs in at 7lbs, 3oz. Just a magnificent guitar!!!

I've only been playing 5 months so it doesn't feel like there's much to be confident with. I looove hard guitar mod talk. Suggestion; Fat Strat with JB hum. 58-era Neck (bell-like) 61-era middle (texas-like). Set height for best individual, not balanced. Neck & mid off same volume. Have a switch (pop-up or toggle) to Memphis-style the neck to the bridge. Replace Tone with a no-load tap to split the humbucker. You can emulate acoustic & tele tones more naturally than an EQ on top of switching between very distinct EQ tones. Double neck for diff tuning, this setup for even more guitar without switching guitars. Thanks for the shop tour.

I saw Keith Urban perform in Little Rock, AR, when I was about 16. He had a catwalk to a smaller stage where he did an acoustic set, and I was front row to that stage. I ended up leaving with Keith's guitar pick and Brian Nutter's guitar pick. That was one of my first concerts, and it was awesome. It's really cool to see these guitars.
I'm entered. I need this in my life right now. I live in the Naugatuck River valley and I lost all of my musical equipment in the flood we just had. My silver sky and my les paul and my Taylor guitars are all gone 😢
@the_real_LD in the process now with insurance company. Just takes forever for that to happen as there're are so many claims coming put of the area. A buddy is letting me use one of his epihone. So I'm grateful to be at least playing something 😌 I had all my instruments and amps in my garage because that was my music room. Not anymore it's not 🤣🤣
I’ve always loved the Serus J and pined after Rhett’s! Also a huge fan of Fralin pickups… I have a set of vintage hots in my ‘13 MIM strat and they just work for everything I need with single coils.

But I love the unique yet comfortable looking body shape and it’s equipped very well. It’s not your mom’s electric guitar that’s for sure. Assuming she still plays that bc rich warlock. Lol

Last time I was in Nashville, their demo area was under construction. Fortunately, I got to try a couple of their instruments at NAMM this year and the necks are absolutely sublime!! ☮💜🎶
The specs on that give away guitar look great! It think Novo is brilliant. Managing to re-invent familiar shapes and looks of guitars, but still look familiar and not out of place.
Man, that green catseye, or whatever its named, guitar is stunning. Im actually taking a trip to Chicago Music Exchange in a couple months to check one of these out. I own a Rivolta Combinata and ever since I've dreamed of playing a Novo.
Wow, nice guitars, I love the finishes, they look new but worn in all at the same time, like an older finish that has settled into the wood and the grain is visible and some cases tactile.
I recently played a gold sparkly-finished vintage Friedman guitar and I felt like how disco probably tastes. I assume it's the same for every sparkly gold guitar experience.
