Made my skin crawl when you put that car wash brush on the paint! Sure way to scratch and swirl the paint job
My paint has been fucked up since I bought the truck, plans to get it repainted and when I do that I will really care about that!

@@teaminfiniti4105 I feel you there annoying how easy it is to see scratches and dirt. Be wary I have tried painting things on mine and drastically failed. Not as easy as some videos make it look. Really need right pain and a good 2K clear coat and preferably a paint prayer and an indoor place to paint.

I overland in my 08 when I can. I did the leveling kit too but on the rear I used the shackles
I had those Atturo trail blade xt’s, they don’t last very long so I switched to kenda klevers and they’ve been really good and they’re the same price
Really, I had good luck with their life span. Mine were also 10ply. If you had 6 ply that could explain it.

Hey if you still have your truck I highly recommend general grabber apt tires 60k mile warranty and don’t really hummm in 06 and are really good off-road
Thanks! I don’t have it anymore but I now have a 4gen with falken Wildpeaks and couldn’t love them more. I’m close to 60k on them and at least another 5-10k of life in them. They are amazing off-road and quiet as well.

Nice truck! I have a 2008 ram 1500 hemi. Was wondering how much difference in fuel mileage there was with the lift and the bigger tires?
Thanks! Its not really that noticeable, might have lost an mpg or two but nothing crazy.

the sub under the seat i have a old 10 inch sub and a amp .
So for your sub you literally just cut the piece of counter top and made the shape of the sub and the truck?
Yes! you could use a pice of thicker plywood or something like that. I would recommend a hard wood plywood like maple to give it decent acoustics. I basically cut the shape and used large metal screws in the front and the seat securing bolts In the rear.

Did the 42" led bar bolt right up or did you have to fabricate a bracket?
I just drilled a hole through the steel inner bumper and bolted through it. No bracket needed!
Hi tom, based on your large towing mirrors I can tell that you are an intelligent man. im looking for a car i can drive underwater, would you recommend something like this big truck or should i look at something more like a bugatti chiron? Just made the transition to fully living in the ocean so im looking for a vehicle that can support that!

Well if you live in the ocean you won’t have to worry about ever washing and “using the car wash brush” so I think you made a great decision! I would greatly recommend you getting a Tesla because I hear their electrical systems are waterproof to my understanding... could be wrong though so lmk how it works out for you.
Do you have a video showing how you installed your led pod fog lights
553finley I don’t have one, but in the fog light well there’s a slot on the top you can slide a bolt through and then clamp in with washers on either sideTo attach the LED pod bracket, I have another video on my newer ram that has LED light wiring to show you how to do that.

Would you trust the wheel spacers to tow everyday with? I have the same truck fixed up pretty nice with stock 20” and Atturo mud tires. I want a little poke though 🤞🏼
Howard Covington Wheel spacers are not what would fail it’s the stress on your ball joints and other parts like that, but I ran them for two years and would tow a large sized bass boat or landscaping sized trailer all the time. Just pay attention to your truck, do the normal checks for ball joint wear and lug tightening a little more often and you should be fine!
Man I need to showcase my Ram. I’ve had her a little over a year and put $20k in her! New motor, sound system, lift, mud tires, everything has been replaced. And ohhh weee those 10” skar sound awesome in it🥴
To change it to a 21/2inch lift don't I need to buy new springs and other components in the suspension?
mcf1gtr No depends on the lift kit. Rough Country’s lifts utilizes the factory parts. You wouldn’t need to do that till you get into the 4”+ of lift
Anything else for fuel mileage? I have a 08 , 12 mpg not good but the truck is great off road
yeah mine was just about averaging 12mpg
I get an average of 14.7 mpg

I would highly recommend! just check for body rust if you live in a place with snow. People like to hid the rear fender rust holes under plastic fenders. Best bet is to look it up on Kelly Blue Book for a fair used price. I purchased that one which is a 2006 model with 130k miles for $12k. hope this help, good luck finding one.
With your lift kit, did that level you out or do you still have front tilt? if so what is your differential?
Aidan Kerr the kit lifts the front 2.5” and the rear about 1”, this gives it a leveled look with no front tilt or rake.
You must literally “hook” up to your boat.

I justice bought an 06 ram 1500 4x4 mega cab, with a road ripper 2000 transmission, a 6 inch lift, with 6k in rim's and tires, over all my truck is worth around 20k, I'll have a video of it on my channel going up real soon so check it out and tell me what you think

hey to which wire on the signal bulb did you connect the halos and the leds to?
I connected them to the daytime running lights, honestly don’t remember what wire exactly bc I made this video a few years ago. I usually just make my best guess possible and if I’m wrong I re connect the cut wire and shrink wrap it to protect it again.
oh bet bet, i might just do that too, i just got those exact same lights today and i couldn’t find which wire was the daytime running but i appreciate!
Angel Rueda Yeah it could be one of the wires that goes to the orange marker bulb, just ,ale sure it’s not the one that is the turn signal
i just finished doing the wiring and yep it was the middle wire of the turning bulb
Can I fit the lift kit on my 2004 dodge?
They make lifts that will just go on a site that has you put in vehicle info.

If your referring to the exhaust, I love it!
They are just a duals that comes out of the muffler not a true dual. There was also a second muffler that was ahead of the main one that the MBRP dual muffler replaced that I removed as well.

Spaghetti i agree it was temporary lol. A fire can only happen if wire gauge is too small and are overloaded. Also a lack of safety measures like fuzes could cause that... Which it has.... so that's why 5 years later is has yet to bun to the ground lol. also on a side note, if they were all tightly bundled up together neatly wouldn't that be more of an issue for melting and sparking??
