Sometimes clutch also gets hard due to slave cylinder , so it can be the last resort , Before suspecting the pressure plate

Hello Bro, do u think I need to replace my timing kit of Skoda Laura? As it is 2012 model and done jst 36800 kms as it is almost new engine. So, wht do u suggest bro?
Sir as all rubber components , timing belt too have a life and due to repetitive heating and cooling from engine the rubber compounds of the belt starts to break down , so ideally its a good practice to change the belt in 7th year even if its not driven that much .
Hi thnxs for your videos and they are great but I have a 2003 Peugeot 206 and I wonder it really runs rugh and you can feel pedals shakes and when it comes to heavy rains it really runs smoothly and i always wondered if it is cylinder head or the clutch or the sensors off but the problem is that the pedals shakes normally when I press the throttle and in heavy rains it really gets really smooth just as good as new could it be of missfire or coilovers? Or injectors? No error codes are present
Sir , as rain cools down the environment , so i guess its more of a affect of temp. I will advise you to have a good look at your cooling system , it seems like the efficiency of the cooling system has decreased , New coolant mix after a flush may get the job done .

Sir , it can also be a vaccume leak , like a small crack in vaccume pipes which makes it run rough . , Injector are going to be in same temp , no matter its raining or not sir . , You can do one more thing to check , just disconnect the MAF sensor and then drive the vehicle , sometimes MAF sensor can also play games due to high moisture in air .
My car is making continuous whoosh kinda noise from idler pulley 1 or 2.. Do we get seperate idler pulley? I have 2015 model vw polo 1.5 TDI Highline... does it perfect time to change - Timing Belt, pulley V Belt, Idling pulley, Water pump ???? Please sir guide me
Sir the right time is close to 100k kms but in some cases it's earlier as well , so i would suggest you to check the condition of the belt once before doing anything , as VW also doesn't have any fixed interval , all they say is check every 30k kms ( change if required ) but its seen that in most of cases it doesn't happen before 100k kms As your vehicle is now 9 yrs old , you can do it anyways , the belt is rubber based and rubber deteriorates with time even when not in use .
Nice work. That definitely was one hell of a job! By the way, why didn't you replaced the water pump too? I've heard that water pumps and timing belts should be replaced together in case of VW'S as water pumps are also a failure point.
Sir in EA189 engines water pumps are not an issue , so i intentionally left out the water pump , because in case of water pump failure , the main reason comes out to be the lack of lubrication from coolant and as i already changed the coolant twice till the point of timing belt change , so i was not worried and i also kept a track of the engine temp. Zones with obd and it was always in the range .

Sir blow by is normal in tdi engine and its there by design , its not a problem About noise and vibration , considering it as a 8 yrs old vehicle , engine transmission and dogmone mount has never been changed , so the noise and vibration will get transferred to the cabin , as engine mounts are made of rubber and rubber gets hard with time , so you have to replace it with new mounts . And a little bit of vibration will still be there , as 1.2 is a 3 cyclinder engine , and a little wobble is one of the natural characteristic of a 3 cyclinder engine Hope it helps .
Sir How many Engine Mounts are there in 1.5 4 Cylinder TDI. mine car is also vibrating, do we need to change the engine mountings? or we can lubricate them ? Car is almost 5-6 years old sir

Hi ji 🙏kar. Can u pls put some light on ABS sensors. My car is suffering from ABS sensor problems. Under warranty each mal functioning sensor were changed every now & then. Service guy says " sir this is normal. There are no special reasons 😳". How is that possible??? Car had run 50000 km of which 40000 were mostly on rough roads. I could feel the Hindrance caused by ABS Sensor while driving on bare foot, for the amount of extra throttle I need give for achieving same speed while ABS was on. Bust showroom vala says ki " sir ese kuch nahi hota"
Sir in some specific models abs sensors are know to ho out very early , nobody knows the reason why , but yes it happens , and abs will not affect the throttle response in any way sir , maybe thats just psychological
Sir to be true i have never seen any timing belt without cover , you may be confusing ac compressor or alternator belt ( aka accessories belt ) without cover . The reason for cover is , while driving if something gets stuck in between belt and the gear , it can make the belt slip from the pulley and mess the timing up , and as all the known Diesel engines are interference engines , timing belt slipping off the Pulley or timing belt break while engine is running simply means , a big expense . You are in for new valves , valve guides , a new head gasket kit and if too unlucky then new piston or pistons as well , depending upon the damage . So thats why , cover is present.
It’s good to change water pump aswell it only take 2 minutes to change when you take timing belt off if it fails later you have to take timing belt off so it’s best to change when your changing timing belt
Yes sir , i know ,but water pump of my vehicle is good , no increase in coolant temperature , no noise in water pump as well and no visible rusting or corrosion signs in the reservoir as well , that why i did not changed the water pump .

Amazing job sir, I have a polo 1.5 tdi, there is oil residue on the egr pipe, when facing the car, the rear half of the egr pipe is completely black with oil and there’s oil residue where the rear end of the pipe connects and also below it but no oil stains on the floor. What could be the reason? Please advice sir. Is there a way to connect with you on insta or email sir
Sir you can contact me on my mail everydaydiyhelp@gmail.com
Most probably the rubber O-ring which is between the egr pipe and intake manifold is not sealing the surfaces properly . Thats why its leaking oil or soot residue .
I watch your videos, and I have a vento TDI 1.6 with oil lamp with engine off. When I turn on the car, oil lamp turn off. Can u help me :(
Sir its supposed to work in that way
@@yourDIYneeds it is normal? It turns on and beep in warning sound
No sir it should not make any beeping sound .
Check the oil level
@@yourDIYneeds i check level and is overfilling max level
Sir then , maybe the oil pressure sensor is malfunctioning
Sir safari instant pickup nhi le rahi hai kya kare?
Sir , most probably , intake , EGR system and MAF sensor clean karna padega , problem thek ho jaegi
@@yourDIYneeds ok thank u sir
Bhai help please
we are going to purchase a polo 1.2 tdi 2013 from my friend
i have little bit knowlege about cars
bhai i have checked the engine, engine is giving blow from dipstic when we press the race
then no smoke or blow, there is no white smoke no black smoke acoriding to our mechanic engine is okay
is the engine okay bhai??? if these conditions applies
and one issue i found there is too much enigne noise in the cabin when we press the race with full force
suddenly at 2500+ rpm's there is too much engine noise , bhai is it common in every 1.2 tdi? poor refinement
or there is problem in engine?
we are going to pay 2.80 lakhs on that polo bhai
kinldy reply bhai
Sir blow by is normal in tdi engine and its there by design , its not a problem
About noise and vibration , considering it as a 8 yrs old vehicle , engine transmission and dogmone mount has never been changed , so the noise and vibration will get transferred to the cabin , as engine mounts are made of rubber and rubber gets hard with time , so you have to replace it with new mounts . And a little bit of vibration will still be there , as 1.2 is a 3 cyclinder engine , and a little wobble is one of the natural characteristic of a 3 cyclinder engine
Hope it helps .
Sir How many Engine Mounts are there in 1.5 4 Cylinder TDI. mine car is also vibrating, do we need to change the engine mountings? or we can lubricate them ? Car is almost 5-6 years old sir
Sir there are a total of 3 mounts
Engine , transmission and pendulum mount
If vibration are high then atleast change the pendulum , and and grease the engine mount
@@yourDIYneeds thanks dear thanks sir for replying . god bless you.
i am going to change my pendulum mount as there is too much vibration in my car also brother. and grease the engine mount also. thanks brother.
sir scorpio 2016 new wala model running hui hai 49000 km... gadi ke front right tyre ki aur se ek awaj aati hai kat ki sirf ek bar hi aati hai..aise lagta hai ki koi metal ki cheez apass mei takrayi ho...awaj tab aati hai jab gaddi ke 3ino ya left ke 2no tyre flat surface pe ho aur right tyre kisi uchi jagah pe leke jaye tab aati hai awaj kat only 1 time ...kya dikkat ho sakti hai sir kyoki abhi kisi ko dikhya nhi hai vo isliye ki mechanic sari cheezo ko badalne ko na bole.. kuch knowledge mujhe bhi ho ????
Sir sway bar ke links check kar lo ek bar ho sakta hai ki wo dikkat me ho kyuki jab car ke front right or left tyre dono alag alag level pe ho to sway bar under pressure hoti hai
@@yourDIYneeds sway bar you means stablizer bar ???
manlo sir ki sway bar ki agar right side ki link rod kharab nikli toh right ki hi change karwau ya fir dono side karwani padegi
Yes sir
Sir dono , ek side ki change karne ka fayda nahi , dono ko sath hi change karo
Does your car have cruise control?
No sir , cruise control , vw gave cruise control after 2017 i guess , mine is 2014
@@yourDIYneeds retrofit? Read in tbhp, possible with 087 bcm. Your opinion?
Yes sir , its possible , pq25 supports cruise control , it can be done , you have to wire the switch and then activate the cruise with vcds .

Buddy why do diesel engines have timing belt PROTECTED IN A PLASTIC COVER, while most of petrol engines have open timing belt?
Tata safari dicor... Gaadi jaate jaate hi check engine aake slow hota hai bhai.
Accilator Pedal change karna hai toda batav.
Tumhara whatsup no
It’s good to change water pump aswell it only take 2 minutes to change when you take timing belt off if it fails later you have to take timing belt off so it’s best to change when your changing timing belt
Yes sir , i know ,but water pump of my vehicle is good , no increase in coolant temperature , no noise in water pump as well and no visible rusting or corrosion signs in the reservoir as well , that why i did not changed the water pump .
@@yourDIYneeds well when I change Timing belt I always change water pump
Yes sir , that the best thing to do .
How much cost sir pls tell ??????
Sir timing kit costed me 11000/-
Good 👍
Timing kit part number plz

Fully wrong procedure
Sir , can you please explain , how is it wrong ?
As i can still rev the tdi till 5500 rpm with same performance and economy , and its been close to 8k kms from the time i changed the timing belt
@@yourDIYneeds not possible to comment box,, practical view is the best way to explain it,,iam skoda ,vw mechanic,,I tunned 100% perfect,,it is very important to sound,, mileage, pickup and engine life,,sorry for u r feeling hurt,,my self Octavia 1.9tdi mileage is 25-28 km per litre for long ride, that is perfect timming result,,and that is true,,not fake 🙏👍
Sir the max i got from my tdi is 29.7 kmpl on highways , and why is it not possible to explain
I am not hurt , i just want to know where i was wrong in your perspective . And if i did anything wrong then how is it possible that all the timing tools were still able to lock the timing on their designated spots after the replacement ! How would you explain that ???
Big brothers tell me the total cost of timing replacement bro plz
Sir around 10k with all the OEM spares , if it's a DIY
@@yourDIYneeds bro through mechanic
@@yourDIYneeds becoz I am noob I know only to drive the car I know about mechanical things and how to maintain but hw to change an timing belt is very risky so tell me my area mechanic is asking to spend something around 15-20k is he asking much or that's the fair price to change an timing belt
Just ask him, how much he will charge for labour , you can source the parts , usually the labour is between 1000-1500
Also for the 2014 1.4 TDI version?
Sir its same for 1.4 , 1.5 , 1.6 , 2.0 tdi
