I’m so glad my class went back to numbers after spending weeks on Lateral Equations. Steryptypical question aside, when am I going to use “€+3s•14z-$b=(?) Solve for €” WHEN?? WHEN WILL I???
As a math major it's important to note how we derive the characteristic equation before just plug and chug. We realise that y is of the form y = e^(rt) . And indeed, y''= r^2e^(rt) etc, then we factor out the e^rt to get the quadratic 😻
I love ODE so this was relaxing and mentally soothing! Your whispering and the sound of the pen on the screen were perfect. Subscribed, and hoping for more!
The gaps in the letters when you were writing could be due to the tip of the Apple Pencil wearing down, or that the tip isn’t screwed on properly. That could be leading to it not reacting to the screen properly :P
I felt the same, haha. I remember hating DE until I understood how it was useful (and quite necessary) in Mechanical Engineering…then I was annoyed my teachers hadn’t done a better job teaching me, lol
This video is very useful to me since i'm doing this in school currently and it's very relaxing just following through with you. If possible, can you share the notes(you talked about in the description) with us? Love this.
Thank you for helping me let go of some traumatic experiences that I had in engineering school lol. If you’re still a student currently, best of luck to you! By any chance, would you be willing to do an ASMR lesson on PID (proportional integral & differential) control? 😅
I remember seeing this a while back and not understanding anything, and I suddenly remembered this video, now that I am taking Differential Equations, and currently covering this topic!
You can do a follow up of this video with a treatment on solving of difference equations. An interesting discussion would be a comparative study of solving linear, homogeneous differential equations of order 'n' and solving the eigenvalue problem for a n by n, complex square matrix.
Just a new subscriber here, never thought that this subject will be this relaxing lol hahah. Btw, im an mechanical engineering student, can you please do thermodynamics asmr cause that's one of my favorite subject rn. Thanksss
Will that's disappointing i couldn't, instead i learned something new equation, who knows when could i use this, but if it happens tho im gonna tell my teacher i learned from a random asmrtist at 2am.
Are you using a Paperlike screen protector or something similar? The sound of the pen on the screen is not what I'd expect from plastic on glass, and it sounds like it would feel pretty nice to write with.
I forgot this is why I subscribed in the first place - if you did versions of these math videos where we could hear what you're saying this would be both an actual teaching video and asmr-ish
If only college algebra was this relaxing and laid back 😞 thank the creator for this channel 😃 EDIT- it’s been three weeks and I have yet to make it through this video. Relaxation is on DEFCON 1
seems like you'd have an easier time with space if you kept the e^t cos t and e^t sin t terms grouped all the way through? there's no need to keep A and B coefficients separate, they're just numbers and not dependent on t
it's like i'm really in my math class.... not understanding a thing and feeling sleepy 😅
and finally i fall asleep...
Yes!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So true
So I'm not the only person that gets rly sleepy in math 😭
The inconsistency when writing happens because the tip of the pen is loose, you can fix it by unscrewing it then screwing it on tightly again.
I can't believe I found the solution to a problem I've had for months on this fucking video
@@Muffinstock Internet is an awesome place, and a frightening one.
@@pompka3045 What the f%ck?
Love your pfp
Watching this as student, this makes me appreciate we still have NUMBERS in maths and not ancient alphabetical glyphs
I miss when my math had numbers
I miss when math had the whole greek alphabet....
I’m so glad my class went back to numbers after spending weeks on Lateral Equations. Steryptypical question aside, when am I going to use “€+3s•14z-$b=(?) Solve for €” WHEN?? WHEN WILL I???
english letters and apostrophes
Trigonometry and simultaneous equations were my favourite type of ancient glyph manipulation
Omg why is no one talking about her writing?! It’s so neat and pretty
I AGREE OMG. I COULD NEVER- 😭
I love ur pfp
@@nagis8304 thanks yours too lol
@@niepie thanks bbg
Weirdo
As a highschool student I understand almost nothing but it's so relaxing and interesting anyway
As a college student, neither do I lol
glad to know we’re in the same boat LOL
I have a mechanical engineering degree and I still don’t get it 😪😂
As a university student, I have absolutely no idea what is going on
Diff eq isn't hard, just tedious. I did diff eq when I was in 10th grade.
I like this a lot. Idk why it’s relaxing instead of boring. It’s the perfect balance between repetition and thinking to make it great
As a math major it's important to note how we derive the characteristic equation before just plug and chug. We realise that y is of the form y = e^(rt) . And indeed, y''= r^2e^(rt) etc, then we factor out the e^rt to get the quadratic 😻
no idea what i just read
seems about right lol
😕… sure..?
ah thank you for this, my diffeq is pretty rusty and i didn't immediately see the connection
The fact that math can be letters too, I just can’t 😭😭
I h a t e math with a passion but for some reason I was actually invested the whole time and was smiling ☺️ you’re a great tutor :D!!
How can u hate math this is not possible !
@@Yac_BtwBeat because it’s too tedious. Especially advanced math
Бля чо я тут делаю
Hating comes from not understanding. Once you start understanding you're gonna love it.
@@Yac_BtwBeat It is. I hate math too
I would really like the levels to get advanced and cover physics too..... this is a great idea to mix ASMR with these .... super nice
Advanced? I didn't understand one thing!
Yes
This is the first math class that it's totally OK to fall sleep in
you REALLY like 21 pilots, do you?
@@purplrshadowyay I do

I love differential equations, they are so entertaining to solve
i have an ode exam in 2 days and i disagree ahahahahha
From the small exposure I've had to diff eq in Calc 2 I might agree with you, but then again we only did simple first order equations lol
They are. Most people wouldn't get it. It's not inherently hard, just involved. Always a nice feeling when you are done
please give me your brain
@@bluepunisher113lol i have one tomorrow and i’m watching this to study 😭
Thanks for all your relaxing videos 😘😘😘😘😘
Give me money MONEY MONEY I NEED YOUR MONEY MONEY MONEY
This is so lovely, especially the sound of the pencil on the screen. Made me nostalgic for grad school and sleepy!
Haven't seen diff eq's in a few years, this is a nice relaxing way to review
@Firewolfy seems like we had very different experiences
@@Moises505130 i loved my DE classes
wow another amazing video that never disappoints. i miss the teaching videos please keep them coming.
Rewatching to actually study differential equations. Really appreciate it ❤

If you’re studying for a math test and trying to get good night sleep, this can be very helpful!
It's wierd, working as an economist this subject that was stressful in school is now so relaxing to me haha
Just spent the afternoon practicing my differentials, couldn’t have come at a better time 🥰
Can you also do one on partial differential equations? This was really nice
partial ODE’s aren’t the different unless there are more variables the X and Y
@@krelly6537 but when you sprinkle some special functions the thing become spicy

Yt has such a great timing. I was just struggling with differential equations and I put it aside and picked my phone up and saw this video😂😂
Haven't solved a DE in the time domain for awhile. This was actually really useful (and relaxing ofc).

Quiet and peaceful! Enjoyed your handwritings!!!
I’m trying to learn Calculus and thank you for your videos! For also doing math at 6 am!
you have the neatest digital handwriting i have ever seen
I had a 84 percent on my last exam! Thank you!
ASMR is teaching math better than the public school system
OMFG! You got the point! ASMR+Math, the two most sleepy things finally combined together. I’m already feeling sleepy when I typ
