I LOVE this tutorial!! I searched high and low for this kind of idea of the laptop case that holds onto it and couldn't find it. I FINALLY found YOU and not only is it cute than I even hoped, it's really easy to understand! thank you thank you thank you! I can't wait to start this!💗💗💗
AWW!!! this makes me so happy. yess it usually takes me like 7-8 hours but I can't do it all in one day because I have to give my hands a break. How long did it take you?
Thank you for this tutorial, I am very happy with the result, I hope I can do it calmly and with as much patience as you. One day, who knows, I'll come back to say it worked 😅🩷🩷
Te encontrei hoje,do nada e amei tudo,ja quero fazer pras minhas filhas e os meus netos e jenros capa de leptop.nao te entendo, mas vou acompanhar vendo como vc esta fazendo, obrigada 👍🤞
This is really cute, but do keep in mind that putting your laptop while it's running on fabrics like this can damage it and lower its lifespan since it's more prone to overheating :(
@@saifshaikh138 Just take out your laptop fully from the cover and put it on a hard surface, lol :) And if you like using your laptop on your bed, I recommend getting one of those lap desks.
I guess u could also use a thick piece of cardboard and place it under the laptop and put them both in this case while the board is under the laptop and that way u can keep the laptop in the case???
Hi so I think I can help you a little at least on the cover itself not the straps or ears since I haven't really gotten to that part yet but I hope this helps 😅 My laptop is 11 inches by 8 or 9 inches and this is wat I did I chained 88 to cover the side of it (not the long side since am kind of confused by the height and width don't know which is which if am being honest) then I double crocheted into the chains I did. Then chained 2 to start a new row (don't really know if it's the same for half double) then I kept on repeating wat I did until I cover the long side of my laptop ( the 11 inch basically) then tied a knot and weaved the ends back into it
Start by chaining the length of your laptop then half double crochet into the first chain and continue down your chain Then chain one or two so that you get a straight edge and continue down the new row Keep on repeating that until you get your desired length that covers your laptop Chain one then pull the yarn a little and cut the yarn leaving a bit to weave in
Love love love love this! I don’t even crotchet but this made me start! So thank you! But can someone help me with the measurements, I’m really having a hard time with it. She said make 44 chains or 23 times 2 of your laptop width and I’m very confused.
Thank you so much!! I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm trying to get better at explaining things. So the width of your laptop is from your webcam to where the screen folds. so that width times 2 (meaning you'll crochet a big rectangle for both the screen part and the keyboard part of your laptop at once). I hope that makes more sense. If not, please ask me more questions. I'm happy to help. And thank you for being so patient with me. I will definitely include more footage and explanation in future videos.
@@boluwatife482so basically you just need to measure the width of your laptop when it is closed. Then you chain twice as many chains that you need in order to reach twice the width of your laptop, so that it wraps all around the laptop. I hope this is understandable. So if you need f.e. 20 chains to reach the width of the closed laptop, you'll need to chain 40.
Hey queen I’m confused by the measurements of the case, is it chain 44 or times 2 to make it 88? And how many rows in total, 23? Because I have a MacBook and so far it doesn’t look like it will fit with 44 chains and 23 rows x
This is cute. Wondering if I could adapt this pattern to just cover top of laptop and not both sides? I think it would help with it not overheating due to being completely encased in a cover.
So cute! I saw on your TikTok you made cat ears, how do you make them pointed maybe just a chain 1 at the top of the arch? Can’t wait for the book cover/purse turorial!
I am gonna make this for my laptop but oh my gosh my attention got caught- you are watching detective conannnn ksjsks but thank you for this tutorial by the wayyy it's so cuteee

This is so cute!! I’m getting a laptop soon, and wanted to do this with it, but I don’t have elastic , can I just use a regular piece of yarn? And pull the corners tighter?
Hi there do you have the cat ear variable bc I am crocheting this and was hoping in the video you would show that but you didn't and I want preferably cat ears on mine thank you in advance
I’m struggling, and i have 2 questions. I’m using a 6 mm hook but 44 chains wasn’t enough to cover my macbook, should it be a little tight or not? And the second question, can we get the pattern for the kitty ears?
hii I'm sorry I know the video is a bit confusing. So to answer your questions, the chain number depends on your Macbook's size. If you look on Apple's official website for the dimensions of your Mac, it should be the depth of your Mac times 2. Whatever that is in inches/centimeters, your chain row should be equal to it. It also should be just a bit tight so when you do the border for the elastic band later, it would be just enough. And about the cat ears, I'm working on the pattern for it. Thank you so much for your patience and support. I hope this helped.
@@Biyabimi OMG thank you so much for the answers, I think maybe I'll do the strap and the elastic band border and I'll wait for the pattern of the ears
to be safe, I do recommend removing it while charging. I do keep it on sometimes, but it depends on your situation and your laptop so it's best to be safe
What laptop do you have because i can’t figure out how to measure mine and how many chains i should start with… I have a MacBook Air…you said to double the width of my laptop
So I hope this helps you since when I did this I double crocheted rather than half but wat I did is chain 2 then double crocheted into the first stitch so that I can get a straight edge and continue down the row and repeated wat I did w the new one

The 44 times 2 means chain 88 so that it goes around your laptop completely like a circle instead of just 1 side if that makes sense.
