- In this video i will be sharing some websites where you can seacrh for properties in Portugal. And how to navigate your way around portugees websites. Also i will share some information about the regions and what to expect in different parts of Portugal.

Haahah well the Portuguese themselves really dont want these houses... I think they better like to be in the Netherlands for example. They can have my house there :p
@@GhostTownVlogs 🤣 she was joking, she say that cause a lot of people are buying land in Portugal recently. yes portuguese are forced to leave the country, unfortunately, mostly cause a lot of people dont have chances of employment, work progression or good salaries. But, i say, please buy everything 😅 we have a lot of land like this mostly abandoned and we need people especially in that areas cause portuguese prefer the big cities or immigrate and this beautiful areas are almost inhabited. So good to see people interested in make a simple lifestyle and live from the land

I liked the map on the wall. I lived in Azores so I don't know to much about mainland. Well learning as I read and go. I watch Luke and Sarah, maybe that's how I came across you. Yes, I subscribed. Lol I've heard a lot about Casto Branco, I'll be in that region in June. All over really. Coming from US for 1st time ro mainland. Lots to see and figure out. Obrigada for your help.

At the bank they have propreties like, millenium imoveis, caixa geral imoveis , credito agricola imoveis , montepio imoveis , nolon imoveis , alta vista imoveis , penhoras financas pt , eleiloes pt

Wonderful video! I really like those cottages. They all have walls of stone or plaster. Here in Texas, that is very rare unless near the border or in the hill country. The lowest priced properties here usually have single wide trailers on them.

Do you have a vid or suggestions on how to get more detailed info once interested in a property... like land-use/building-setbacks/height restrictions, lot boundaries/easements, water/sewer/well depth info, topological map, etc?
I have plans to build small--ish ICF PassivHaus dwellings with rainwater collection & solar, which need specific criteria of the land (plus I'd like nice southern views!), but noticed most listings don't even give an address... which makes it difficult to narrow my search remotely. Rather not waste the time of many realtors & district planning office employees if i can do the legwork myself!
LOVE everything I'm learning about Portugal, but this part has been a challenge! Next up...to learn the language!

Gosh, those prices are insane. It's nearly impossible to find anything remotely below €20,000 here in Australia...
Yes Portugal is still (and will be for a while) extremely cheap :)

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, didn't see you comment there. You mean the site itself technically or the users on the website? I see in Holland on the same kind of website, its more the users (sellers/buyers) that are irresponsible i notice (not sticking to agreements etc)

A similar state of affairs here :). We were going to come over for a few weeks this summer to look around in person but COVID had other ideas :(.
