This wowed me because over here in the latin american coastal side we do the very same dish save the milk we use coconut milk instead and also like haddock we use cod. In the end very hearty creamy dish :)

Awesome, Nice to see a proper traditional recipe, rather than a "traditional, but I did it my way" one. Worth a follow that is.!!

Keep it up! I'm going to try this one, but I'll add some toasted oats, if you don't mind.

I'm Scottish and I can only understand about 40% to 50% of what the voiceover is saying. I honestly think he is doing a fake Scottish accent.
The video is good and the soup is delicious.

I'm Scottish too, 20 miles west of Glesca. I think it's a decent attempt at the Doric but not the real MacKay! Love the humour!

K R that is Doric but the guy is just over playing it. I understood every word, but then again I’m a Doric speaker

@@kr1886 I'm also from Glasgow but lived north of Aberdeen for 5 years and believe me,this is the Doric!! Every week the milkman came to the door for his money and had a friendly conversation, but I still haven't a clue all these years later, what he actually said!!😂x

The accent is just a play on a Scottish accent folks. It's certainly not real Dorric or you wouldn't be able to understand him at all, even being Scottish! I'm a North Easter, by the way. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
