The Government Is Trying to Ban Exotic Animal EDUCATION! When Do The Bans Stop??

- Last week New York introduced a bill limiting many groups of animals from "traveling animal acts." This is a very dangerous precedent to set as it is mainly aimed towards circuses but they specifically chose to broaden the term to traveling animal acts to include education outreach programs like mine. There have been many attempts to stop traveling animal acts over the past few years and it seems like the war against exotic animal ownership and education isn't ending ANY time soon. In this video I go over my thoughts and how I'm tired of animal rights groups and the government attacking what I do.

Much truth being spoken here pal, we're dealing with this in FL right now but there's no real talks, it's like decisions are being made and then things are just pushed through no matter what the arguments are. When it comes down to real protection of entire areas, the very same people that are often behind these bans are those pushing for more real estate development and land exploitation.

I assume you know about the new bill proposing a ban on NY importing and exporting of nearly all animals. This sucks for everyone because as you said other states will do the same thing if it passes. There is a gecko breeder in Canada who comes down to NY to export geckos to other states. I really hope that none of these bills pass. (I’m a NY resident as well lol)
Yes but that one has like a 99.99% chance of not passing as it would affect livestock animals as well and that would kill any farms in NYS so hopefully
There is already a regulation concerning this mandate. Although regulations are only edicts and aren't enforceable, the courts treat them as laws and enforce them as such. The amendment of the "Dangerous Wildlife 'Law'", that is 6 NYCRR 180.1 was amended and that amended regulation was adopted in April 2019, which prohibited almost every species of animals. Problem is DEC is overreaching past its jurisdiction - they are to stick to WILD animals, not domesticated EXOTIC animals. We advocate for civil disobedience in appropriate circumstances, by the way.
