I’m so glad you are doing well. It hits people more when they know those going through it. I’ve known people that have tested positive and sadly friends that passed away. My three year old nephew was hospitalized with it. He’s finally home after a month in the hospital, but since his appetite and taste is not working correctly anymore they are struggling with him eating. They’re trying to decide what to do or maybe even going back to the hospital. It makes me so frustrated when I keep hearing this is fake. Obviously they haven’t seen what I have. Again I’m sorry you got it and I hope you continue to get better.
Thank you, Laura! I'm sorry to hear that you lost several friends to the virus and that your nephew struggled with it too. I wish him well with recovery! 💕
Your idea about decluttering clothing items in batches, ie, all trousers or all shoes is a brilliant idea. I often try decluttering my whole wardrobe in one hit and it's overwhelming and I end up putting most of it back in the cupboard. Taking just one category at a time is so much more manageable. Can't think why it has never occurred to me! Thank you so much :)
Great to hear that you are recovering well! I definitely can tell you that have more energy than the previous video which is a good sign! Even the virus can't keep you from putting out new content. Calling you Sarah Superwoman! 🤗
Glad you’re feeling better. I was in isolation for 26 days. To the haters on your channel ignore them. You can’t fix ignorance. To the trolls, yes I was tested. It was the most horrible experience of my life.
Thank you, Trina! I was not excepting hate comments by sharing this update. We have been in isolation for about 20 days so far (with the exception of getting tests done) and are waiting at least until August 1st before venturing back to testing and into the real world!
Abundantly Minimal isolation is hard. I did it in my bedroom completely alone. My husband and granddaughter never caught it. They did quarantine at home the entire time. Would order groceries online and my mother would pick them up and drop off at front door. He would bring food and sit it on a foot stool by the bedroom door. He would take my dirties, throw them away then scrub up. I used all paper and plastic. We have a gate up to keep dogs out. I would eat on one side of the gate and he, with our 6 year old granddaughter would eat on the other side at every meal so I felt less alone. This of course when I could get up out of bed.
Trina Peddicord thank you sharing your method of quarantining from family. We have made a plan for if we get the virus that looks much like what you did.
Stacey J no not yet. Our nearest Military base wasn’t doing them because they were not accurate enough at the time. Too many tests only a hand full were actually really approved by the govt. Things could be different now, but I never really leave the house except to do no contact grocery pickup.
Welcome back!! Great to hear that you and hubby are on the mend. I like the idea about batching chores. Since lock down I have felt a reluctance to go to the stores and it's been amazing just how much I can do without! I now wait until there is something on my list which I need now and try and get as much done as possible in one go. I find I'd happily pay a little more for some things from a one shop trip as overall I'm saving.
I have been so worried & devastated too! As you know, it could have been fatal....& wasn't! To see you down & out like that was the devastating part...your eyes told me everything. What a relief to see you up & going again!!!!! hugs, Judie
@@AbundantlyMinimal June I went to the emergency room because I could NOT breath! That is a very scary thing to happen...it wasn't covid, they don't know what it was! I haven't been around much, and didn't know you were sick- I am so glad you are on the upswing, and doing so well with self care and putting your recovery first! I love the way you marked the turn in your recovery as being able to "feel joy again"- that is SO TRUE when getting better from a serious illness. Keep on being you! And thanks for the reminder to get back to batching- I've strayed, and it has really impacted my budget and waistline!
Very helpful video Sarah! I was just talking about how meal prep/planning in the past helped me and my family so much! I will be getting back into that routine for sure. Happy to see you are well and back at doing what you love.
Wow, these are great suggestions. Especially found the one for batching like items (shoes) for decluttering very useful. I do find it overwhelming when I think about decluttering the whole bedroom. Your approach seems to be easier way to get started with a better chance at actually completing. Hope you will be feeling 100% better soon.
Sorry, I had not heard you had gotten sick with this virus! I am happy to hear your doing so much better! Sounds like you have it under control! Thank God! 😃
One of the things I value and have learnt through de-cluttering is now I can put things away, because its not an endless task. I've gotten into the habit of trying to put things away straight after I've used them. Before I would arrive home with bags of stuff that I had used at work been so tired that I would drop them at the door and I would then eat rubbish food as I was overtired. De-cluttering has changed this dramatically. Less stuff-less to cope with-more energy. However I like your tip of setting aside a 'batch' of time to do this. I know looking around that there are some things in each room that I need to sort, but I could do this by setting aside 10 mins. Also pleased you are starting to feel better.
I should make extra waffles & freeze them....as long as I have the waffle iron out! You toast them after they are frozen, & they are so good! I used to do that when the kids were little.
HI Sarah, glad to see you feeling so much better! I'm excited for the series also. I will be batching in the kitchen tomorrow. We were given a couple bags of apples and I will be making apple crisp plus extra for the freezer. And apple cinnamon muffins to freeze also. It will smell like fall even tho it will be 95 degrees.
Yay, so glad to have you back and very excited for this latest video! You look and sound soooo much better than in the last video. Great to see. Keep healing for that last few per cent! x
Great to see you looking so much better and hear that you're feeling it too. Great video. Batching is so valuable. Batching errands is especially important for those of us who don't drive. I will sometimes go out with my shopping trolley full of rubbish to throw out, then recycling to take to the recycling bins, then stuff to donate to charity shops, then library books that need returning, then paperwork I need to take into a government office, gradually working my way to the bottom of the trolley, and then when it's empty I have a shopping list of things which I will then buy on my way home. It's pleasingly satisfying.

So happy to hear that you are both feeling better. Please take it slowly 🙏🏻 That said I am also so happy for this new series of videos. Great tips . Turns out I am a big batcher 😂😂😂
Really enjoyed this video, Sarah! I feel like this approach has worked best with how I run my blog. While I usually keep a running list of ideas, I like to choose one day at the beginning of the month to batch and write out drafts for those ideas. From there, I'll schedule out my posts on a desktop calendar I have. I've found this to be very effective, because then I'm not worrying about which subject to write about next or what day to publish my posts. :)
So glad you are feeling better - you were the first person “I know” who had the virus- really made me more willing to wear my mask 😷
Thank you, Bonnie!

I have a cleaning routine so I pace out a room/or job a day with 2 days off at the weekend because I get fatigued easily but I still use batching. If I’m going to get the mop or hoover out I will mop/hoover all areas because otherwise the non hoovered areas travel to the others on our socks etc so I hoover less often over all. Batch cooking is a life saver, you just double the amount and apart from chopping it takes the same time. I love prepping all my veg at the same time too. Batching errands is also good if my anxiety is bad because he ‘push’ to get myself out the door is the most energy consuming part but once I get out I’ve done the worst bit! Thank you so much, Marianne! Don't worry, I'm still resting a lot! I'm glad the video was helpful!
So happy to hear that you are both feeling better. Please take it slowly 🙏🏻 That said I am also so happy for this new series of videos. Great tips . Turns out I am a big batcher 😂😂😂
Thank you! I'm definitely taking it slowly! I'm happy you enjoy batching and are happy about the new series!
That's a wonderful use of batching, Amy!
Glad to hear you and hubby are feeling better! Glad you are back! Take care!
Thank you, Cathy!
