When others believe them, and aid them is the most frustrating thing.
Righht?? Its even worse when your narcissistic family and work place turn against you so im isolated and they gaslight wonder why i feel isilated and gaslight over over you need to forget this trauma like its nothing!
And when family court crushes you when they paint you as the bad parent.
Narcissists sabatoge themselves because they lack empathy! Empathy is required to learn from mistakes- so they repeat their mistakes over and over again !
And they never stop! Gaslight you to change when they get awsy with it and everyone loves them and im the problem
I sometimes feel like people with this kind of personality style can be meticulous in how they carry out what they are doing but sometimes in this out of control impulses can overplay their hand, overshoot the runway, or whatever metaphor you use and--they get sloppy and suddenly the mask slips off and they are exposed. Or they just make a mistake, say something they shouldn’t have, and you see who they are, or what they are doing.
In their zeal of getting off they lose whatever cleverness they thought they had in hand. Their out of control impulsiveness supersedes whatever cleverness they had.
Personally I think they’re more stupid than clever cause if they were smarter they would not act like such assholes.
You have become my favorite on this topic. I think what you say is the most astute and accurate.

My girlfriend said she hates me and never wants to see me again but she keeps a eye on me and checking my phone and saying I’m cheating on her I just laughed because I’m not doing anything wrong she will hit me if I even look at another woman.
She's cheating and feels guilty, they often do a deflecting tactic when they are in the fire of interrogation. So let it be known, what she accuses you of is what she is actually doing.
What she accuses you of is what she is doing.
When under fire and about to be exposed or have been exposed, they will deflect your attention to something else randomly, to disperse your pursuit of the truth.
