Anja, got my yarn yesterday so started my shawl today. I have already finished my first repeat. This is alot of fun. I got the color AU03 in the blue family. I bought the pattern too. Thanks for your awesome designs.
This shawl is absolutely amazing. I made the first in some pretty acrylic while I waited for my James Brett yarn. It is truly lovely. I ordered 15 balls of Aurora yarn, and I must say my second shawl is capturing my heart. The yarn is wonderful to work with, and my HiyaHiya hooks are even better than my Tulip hooks. So light and very smooth. Now I have to find other projects for the rest of my new colors.
I plan on doing another in a solid color too.....just because. 😊

Too many trebles hurts my shoulders because for some reason I always have to pull a bit harder on trebles whereas I don’t have that problem as much with trebles.

30+ rows done now, BUT.....I must have been asleep when I did the last EIGHT rows 'cos I've just had to undo them and re-do them!!!! Chains missing, different amounts on each side, shells with fewer than 5 legs......

What weight yarn did you use? A 3 weight (DK) or a 4 weight? (Worsted Weight)
I have a question for anyone. Can I make this shawl and then sewing it across from left cuff all the way across the back then to the right cuff on an existing sweater??
I don't see why not, l guess it could be done, only thing to do is try it and see what happens!!! Have fun experimenting, Anja x

Love this pattern! The yardage you used works out perfectly for 2 cakes of Lion Brand Mandala (590 yds each) so that's probably what I'll do!. 😁 (Edited some typos)
@@OpheliaTalksthanks! It would be helpful to have this information either in the description or maybe added as text onto the video during the part where you're describing the yarn. Sometimes I'm looking for a pattern to use some of my stash with and then it gives me an idea of whether or not, without having to scan the comments or skip around through the video, if it's something I can do right now or if I have to buy yarn for it first. If I know I don't have enough I'll bookmark it and go back once I've ordered some yarn. 😉 I'm not super annoyed about it or anyting and it's totally valid if you don't want to do either of those things... Just a suggestion! Thanks so much for posting these awesome tutorials!

Anything I wear with holes ALWAYS gets caught on my drawer knobs, door handles, etc.
My strap to my purse gets caught all the time by my doorknobs 😮.
