My # 1 build is Auto Axe based. I’ve always been a melee player, but for the first couple years, I was addicted to Grog’s Axe. The Auto Axe is so much fun. I love hitting Whitesprings and mowing down 15-20 glowing ones in 90 seconds. 😂❤ Thanks for yet another great video, sir!

I just unlocked this from the Atom Shop, thankfully bypassing the stamp grind. I've played this since launch and only just got this weapon now. My melee toon has been rocking bloodied two handed weapons for years, this will be refreshing as the Auto Axe was a favorite of mine from The Pitt in FO3. Thanks for the video! I'm glad this thing is OP bc many of my fav weapons are not so great in FO76.

I'm about six weeks into playing FO76 and so far it's been a lot of fun. I really enjoy your content but at level 100 a lot of it, as with most of the FO76 content I've found is out of my reach for a while. I did just pick up the auto axe when it became available in the Atomic Shop yesterday...I'm looking forward to using it.
Going off of glowing meat as a booster/buff, you can also use the perk card, Mystery Meat, while playing normally, and switch it off later when you figure you'll have enough for buffs. It may not give much, and is Situational for getting it to prock, but it can come in handy for this situation. (In gaining a few extra pieces.) Best way to probably use it, is during Eviction Notice, where your health will be dropping on occasion, maybe go for a mid build, with a light, (but not weak,) defensive threshold, and have on Born Survivor, so that way it can activate occasionally. Though unsure if Mystery Meat will activate with Born Survivor stacked on it. Could especially effective during Mutations week for farming Glowing Meat. As Eviction is usually in rotation, and also you gain a ton of Stimpaks from Mutated Packs/Party Packs. Giving you hopefully an ample supply to keep you going for a while.

Almost exactly my build, just shreds everything. Personally i like having lifegiver, adamantium skeleton and disease resist in endurance (cutting your rad resist and only have 4 in charm for tenderizer and strange in numbers) personally i also run makeshift warrior over stable tools and first aid, and instead of marathoner and escape artist i got white knight and dodgy(though i do have 3x AP armor pieces)
The fire mod for the auto axe has saved me plenty of times. Paired with friendly fire perk, it can heal NPCs. I’ve saved a lot of missions from failure this way.
Ok this gives me ideas for the auto axe been wondering about what I could use to use it again. Along with being a stealth rifleman/melee assassin's build(for enemies not players) I am somewhat a jack of all trade so I can try new things if I ever get somewhat bored with the base of my build from time to time. I'll definitely be using something in this video. Amazing video and build by the way.
When you were showing 207 damage on pip boy that was with buffs I assume right? I run a bloodied axe and I’m around 189 no buffs I think the electric damage is around 54?
I was in the process of rolling for a Vampire Power attack Auto Axe, but then a random Daily Ops dropped me a Vampire Power attack Breaks slower chainsaw, so my modules are going elsewhere now :). That said, my character is a Herbivore, since I'm mainly a Commando, but I've been thinking about starting up a second character more focused on Melee.
Been using auto-axe build for some time, it is completely broken, the AP stops regenerating all the time and you can't use it, when trigger is activated you can hear its noise but the animation doesn't come up and it does no damage, when enemies stun you it takes a looong time to get to activate it again.
Question, I recently watched your video about using Nuka-Grenades in West Tek for fast Scoreboard levels. You mention something about them being level 100, but mine seem to cap at 75. I am currently a level 132, and even when I go down the elevator and come back up, they are still level 75. Thank you for all of your guides and tips! I have learned alot!
This may sound like a dumb question. Is there a best way to obtain perk points for the legendary perk cards? I know you get points for scrapping your perk cards, but you get like 2 points per card. Is there a way where you can get more perk points? For example levelling up a card to max and then scrapping it. Just trying to optimise my level up points as best as possible and level up my legendary perk cards fast. Thanks!
You probably know by now but not really any other way. You scrap a perk card you get 2 points. Any upgrades to a perk card you get 2 points per upgrade. There really isn't any faster way other than leveling up and unlocking perk card packs.
I checked the description for the Earle fight like you mentioned at the beginning of the video, but I didn't see it. Did you remove it, or is it in the Unyielding guide? Thanks for the video! Very curious about this weapon.
I run a bloodied build and I stay in power armor with the auto axe it's so much fun Didn't know about the energy perks boost the dmg too might have to add add those to my build

I've read online that all attacks from auto melee are considered power attacks. I rolled one for chainsaw and was disappointed until I read it somewhere that it was perfect for it.
Vampires the way to go because w the build ur already doing so much damage the bloodied is unnecessary, the vampire helps keep u alive in boss fights n other difficult encounters

damn, the only thing I actually don't like with this build is that AP should be infinite as it was in the past (amazing moments with the shredder minigun spinning infinitely... these were good moments). You actually do not get tired by handling and make spinning a chainsaw in real life... so that in the game should remove that limitation and make it have zero AP cost.
available on atomic shop as well. you can very well use a flaming chainsaw with dual bar mod as a cheaper and easier to get alternative which im using right now until I get enough stamps. shreds mobs in 1 second. I'm thinking auto axe shreds them in 0.1 so theres a difference there lol

Isn't the Chainsaw higher base damage? I love my Chainsaw. Reduced damage while I'm using it makes it awesome for tanking. Earl can't hurt me most of the time.
Circumstantially, yes. After nerfing fire damage, the chainsaw isn't consistently better anymore. The auto axe has the ability to put an energy damage mod on it which makes it the meta weapon for bosses. Sub bosses still get shredded just fine with a chainsaw but I've noticed a huge difference in DPS when I use one on Earle or the mole boss. Compared to before (pre nerf) the chainsaw is much slower against those bosses and you get far superior DPS out of an auto axe. I can kill Earle in less than a minute without any sort of exploits like endangerol stacking.

What is the difference between this auto axe and a dual bar flaming chainsaw for this build? The chainsaw is a lot easier to get.
The extra damage from the Auto Axe Electrified mod gets buffed by Science perks, chainsaw doesn't have that.
