This was the first movie that I ever saw in a theatre. I was 4 when it came out. Do not be too quick to judge the father. It is a different culture and a different time. Hell, men were sexist, many were racist and nearly everyone had different beliefs than we do now. We need to cut people from the past some slack. It was a great movie.
