We just pre-ordered our P4P+ v2.0 with the dji goggles and we can pick them up in 2 or so weeks. Watching these videos is torture to me right now!!! Can't wait to try out the same GTA angle :)
I really love your work, I moved away from LA 15 years ago, I will be flying to LA next week! can you please recommend so cool beach location ? I would love to bring my Phantom 4 Pro.. can you please help? thank you!!! and keep the great videos coming!!
I have used them to shoot with my Phantom 4 Pro numerous times and they are great for precise flying. I have used them to follow water skiers, shoot a chase scene in a music video and more. They are especially good if it's bright outside!
I admit the time I did try them I as along but it seemed fine to me. Just height and distance were very limited. It was the Mavic Pro but I did not use the phone with Go 4. Might have made a difference. I will try that next time, if we ever get rid of the rain.
Do you prefer the goggles vs using your phone for filming, or is this just used primarily for the experience. It would be great in the sun. My shade for my Mavic controller works pretty great.
I haven't used the goggles much with my professional work yet, so it's hard to say at this point. I agree, on sunny days they could be super helpful. Not sure if I'd use the head tracking much for pro work either, though it's a really fun feature. I like to travel light with my drone kit, so I think I'd keep this headset for fun and special occasions on jobs close to home.

The screens inside are amazing but overall the goggles are simply too big, i hope DJI will consider to make them as small as the FPV goggles people are using in the Quad FPV Racing Community. Thanks for the overview and happy midweek :)
I think so! Full disclosure- I'm not super into racing drones, so I'm not up to date on all of FatSharks latest and greatest models...but compared to the products from them I have used this was a more immersive experience with a clearer picture.
I've only used a racing drone once or twice with my buddy Richard (who we featured in some videos a while ago), but the video quality on these goggles was much higher from what I remember. Though I'll be the first to admit, I'm no drone racer, lol...
great video good fun - thumb up
Ordered mine recently & can't wait for it to arrive. I'm stoked.
that looks like so much fun. I WANT ONE!!!
Awesome video guys 👍

Great video! Thanks for sharing that "wow" moment! And thanks for the shout out!
How does the line of sight rule apply when wearing the goggles? Great video!
It was such a surreal experience! My motion sickness though was really taking over lol Great Vid B!
Thanks for hanging and having fun with us! We'll be sure to do it again
I want the DJI goggles race or the black ones cause you can use them on other then DJI
I have the DJI goggles and have used them a couple of times but I'm still not sure what I would use them for in serious work.
They would work great as a personal monitor on a bright, sunny day- as long as you have a spotter to keep you honest.

I can see that but I am a one-man show and you need, or should, a spotter.
Fair point. When I have used them, I have been with a group to do the spotting.

Like # 60 thanks B for the awesome video. I really want them goggles someday. They look amazing, thanks for sharing.
It's all fun and games until someone walks off the cliff! Great video!
Haha, thanks! You were our inspiration!
I really thought I was!! Super trippy experience.

Are they more immersive than FatSharks?

Y'all must have never messed with a racing drone and fpv lol
