Update update from the future lol: soo it may not say ‘bleach’ but it is some sort of lifter soo still be cautious when using chemical on your hair. Again excessive amount of anything is never good❤️

It looks beautiful. Be aware however that that was likely a high lift dye color and that will only work on virgin hair. Any previously darkened hair will not lift with a high lift and will require bleach. Also, in spite of what these companies tell you there is no such thing as a color booster or a color lock in treatment. All permanent colors and tones will fade over time, but you can use a color enhancing conditioner to slow down the process, and as long as you condition to seal the cuticle, it will help prevent color molecule loss. Lastly, ammonia free does not mean that the color is not drying, stripping or damaging, it just means that it was replaced with a different alkalizing agent which will open the cuticle to allow the color molecules to enter the cortex. All alkalizing agents, including the sulfates in shampoos, will open the hair cuticle and leave it vulnerable to moisture loss and dryness. That being said, hair color is not necessarily damaging when done in moderation. As long as you properly care for the hair after it was processed with a nonsurfactant shampoo regimen, followed by regular co-washing and conditioning your hair will be just fine :-)
I’ve had my hair dyed black a few times, and I wanted to try this. I haven’t dyed my hair in almost a year, do you think this would work or would I have to bleach to help lift the darker color?
Heres how I recently went blonde without altering my curly pattern! honestly I am shook. Ive gotten loads of compliments from strangers and friends. so far im digging the change!
I need your opinion I had dark brown hair I used loreal superior preference blonde dye It was a disaster It only dyed me roots leaving my hairs even more darker from bottom Would clairol work for me?

@@m.mmoncada8100 it doesnt matter. ive used this while my hair was still straight, then i went natural and dyed it back black, and once my black faded, i used this again on my natural hair, the ends were as light as the roots! just use foils!
It looks beautiful..yes that is the same hair dye i use.. i had to do the process 2 times( 4 months apart) to get my blonde! i love it and will continue to always use it!!
I’ve been wanting to dye my hair this color for so long!!! But I always been too afraid to try. I got my hair texturized as a kid and the damage was very traumatic and ever since then, I don’t even like blow drying my hair. Right now it is doing so well but I’m afraid of dying it and messing it again. But your video really made me want to try it because you said that nothing went wrong. Thank you for the great video!
I'm blonde now too I just used the same brand but a lighter blonde on Wendsday and I'm still getting used to it but I think I'll like it!And then I look and u dyed yours too how cool. It looks beautiful on u boo😍😘💕💕
Did you tone this or did it come with a toner ? Its so beautiful. I know this was 7 years ago but i love this and was tryng to find sometng that wasnt bleach. My hair is dark brown very dark but part is dark brown dye. And its short so i dont know if this would work. Maybe more orange
Any time you lighten your hair, some form of bleaching is used. Please don’t confuse people who might want to go through with this process but don’t want to bleach. -A licensed cosmetologist
@@hybridangel3403Hello, I'm Cassandra Diamond4hair Lavender, Licensed Master Cosmetologist and Beauty Boss for 36 years. This is a good thread. Even regular color can lift the natural color of the hair. But to decolorize natural or artificial color with powdered lightener and a dedicated developer is not the same as using hi-lift color scientifically and are used for different purposes. Hi-lift color cannot decolorize hair or previously colored hair. It lifts and deposits. Bleach or lightner only lifts hair up to seven levels on healthy, virgin hair. Hi-lift color is good for taking virgin healthy hair 3 or 4 levels some products up to five. I like Hi-Lift color on level 7 and 8 to create great high lights or used on dark levels 2,3,4 to create dark brandy highlights or on 4,5,6, to create caramel. Great when creating fresh highlights on virgin hair. Master Cosmetologist and Beauty Boss
I’m really surprised one box did the job.. i have two boxes of the same exact color I’ve had it about two months and was scared to use it but i think I will go for it today but i may get a darker brown for the back and go two toned
No offense but the Clairol Professional website does not say that this product has no peroxide. It has to have some kind of peroxide/bleach in order to lighten natural color.
You look colour looks gorgeous & so are you💓Id love to get my hair lightened not to blonde but even a light brown. I might try this brand instead because when I used dark and lovely box dye any colour other then black dries it out
You said you had your hair dyed on dirty hair, but the instructions for all of their colors is to shampoo your hair 1 day before you color your hair. I used this color many times before. It is pretty on you though. Thanks for your video.
Wow 😲 your gorgeous ! Def going to buy this product cause I’m half black and Puerto rican and I my hair doesn’t do well with bleach!! So glad I found ur channel!!
she did that because we wanted a balyage effect on the hair so when she did highlights it would blend it more naturally instead of looking like a harsh straight line❤️

This is a High-Lift blonde hair color and has a higher volume developer in a 1:2 ratio. Her natural hair is not a level 1 black. She looks to be maybe a level 3 or 4 with a few lighter streaks throughout. Pretty young thing. Very good video.
I've blog so many ways to dye hair this is the best so far..I color my hair all the time and don't worry if my hair break or whatever bc I don't mind cutting it all off and starting over but I was looking for the best way and something I think that wouldn't damage my daughter hair and I think I will try this method on her...do you know if another color can be added like a red to change color
my hair is soooooo color resistant so boxed dye never works properly (could also been because I've been dying my hair for YEARS, now that i've done the big chop and have 100% natural hair i wonder how it would take box dye lol idk i don't trust box dye me and Sally's have too good of a relationship lol

Hydrogen peroxide is a form of bleach.
Hydrogen peroxide is bleach.
@hybrid angel Hydrogen peroxide is not bleach. They have two completely different molecular formulas
You cannot lighten hair without some form of bleach. Often people say they don't use bleach as a way of saying they don't pre-bleach the hair.
