I enjoyed this video very much, specially some shoot in positions and angles you don’t normally cover. The whole consist is very nice and the historic presentation gives facts we normally don’t know but sure we like to hear. I specially like those shoots where a forest of catenary masts is visible. Greeting from Costa Rica.
@@The3rdRail I always enjoy your videos. After starting with C-track & digital a year ago, I ventured off into M-track and analog, which appears to be more my cup of tea. I'm still debating if I should keep them separate (2 layouts) or use M-track for the shadow station and C-track for the visible sections.
@@The3rdRail I find that most of the older analog locos & cars I've bought are sometimes like new and after a quick oil & lube typically run like new. They are much more robust than the newer rolling stock, although I have to say that I am fascinated by the detail and functionality of the new stuff. And the older ones are definitely less expensive...
I am happy to hear that you enjoy my content. I have done a video about digital vs analog if you are interested in my views on the topic. ua-cam.com/video/MhAzVeNXNEA/v-deo.html, there is no universal answer...
I don't think you can compare what was then and what is now. They are simply not the same, 50 years ago, Marklin produced toys aimed primarily at children or people who enjoyed playing. Today, Marklin produces finely detailed scale models aimed at collectors and modellers, you cannot achieve the same level of robustness in these circumstances. Think Ferrari vs Volkswagen...
Another interesting history lesson with a delight at the end😁
Glad you enjoyed it
Simply beautiful. But then, I did not expect anything else. Very nice :)
Thank you very much! Glad you like it as I much I do, take care!
I got it. One of my favorites. 🚂
I understand :)

a great loco, difficult or expensive to get from us, I've often looked for it, a nice video, greetings Kai👌👍😊
Thanks Kai, indeed, it did take a few years to get one. It was worth the wait though :) Nice of you to visit.
Quelle collection extraordinaire. Une loco ? Voyons dans le stock quels wagons j’ai...

Great video. Could you run the Ma 4126 and Ma 4127 passenger coaches with this lok also?
I meant in the dark green solid livery of the older CFL coaches.
Yes, I think they are the same cars under a different livery.
