Wally's name could also be a reference to the 70s slang "Wally Wally bloody and dolly," which means being crazy about someone to the point you completely overlook their faults. I wonder if this references Wally's relationship with Home?
After diving into the rabbit hole, I came up with the theory that Wally wasn’t always a puppet, but a being of supernatural descent. How else would you explain why you eat with his eyes? Moving on, I noticed how isolated the town is where there is nothing but forest. I mean Sesame Street wasn’t that isolated and were literally in a city. And home is literally in the center with the only shops being the places where Howdy and Eddie work in the front. Also, when I check out Sally’s character page, her story is eerily similar to how Lucifer fell from Heaven. This gives me an idea that the Fallen Angel who became the ruler of hell is behind the show that was originally a base operation to steal human souls and drag them to hell. I wish I could say more, but overall there is more going on then we think.
The Barnaby theory goes with the first pic you see on Clown's personal tumblr. Wally could be a play on Where's Waldo and Darling makes me think of Peter Pan - in the story Peter takes the kids to Neverland where they meet many characters including the Lost Boys.
Yeah I like Wally's voice he has in his song a little better. I am loving this arg and cannot wait to see what more comes out of this, especially if it does have any religious connotations(as Wally having crucifix cufflinks and kneeling before the bloody eye of Home are big kickers), which I already think the original creator of this show, and the company, had some questionable things going on behind the scenes which is why something this successful only lasted 5 years, I think?
Well the artwork that can be found the one titled "I Made a Dog" has Wally pulling the strings of a not yet completed Barnaby. I think it would make sense to have extra material. Theyre puppets. They dont really have skin the way a dog in our world would.
That’s true! I thought about including that but I read that the creator said that anything that is not on the official welcome home website itself, isn’t cannon so I’m not sure if that counts for the official lore
Wally needs therapy 😭
LMAO FOR REAL
I am a therapist.
We all do, I say we all just have a therapy session with the welcome home gang

That’s actually really interesting, I had never heard of that before but that definitely could be possible! It fits pretty well

The Barnaby theory can not be real. Look at the body detail and the only time you see the colors is the paws and the red is in heart shape.
He doooes have other circular red dots on him tho 👀
My friend is obsessed with Wally, and when I tell her about this, she is gonna freak out. Nice!
Oh that’s awesome, definitely send it to her! :) I’m glad u enjoyed!
