No Body Else ,Can DO THIS BEAUTIFUL GIFTED GOD ENDOWMENT ANOINTED SOULFUL SPIRITUAL,TRAINED, VOCALIST,Like THAT OF MARIAN ANDERSON, GOD BLESS YOUR HEART And ALL OF YOUR PARTS,YOUR VOICE,,,WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED!"!"🎵🎵🎶🎵🎶🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
Great singing, but inappropriate apparel. 1 TIMOTHY 2: 9 "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."
I remember when I did a project on her when I was in elementary school. I am now in my senior year in college and decided that since it is Black History Month, I would again do a technology project revolved around her for my technology integration course. I am overjoyed with this video and to be doing this project.
The third number (Crucifixion) is perhaps the ultimate in vocal expressivity. It really shows her “female baritone” register. No other contralto sounded like that.
I heard her several times (In records) and today 6/05/2021 I keep thinking she is the best in singing Spirituals. I can hear Crucifixion only sung by her!! Then I like everything she sings.-
i know you maybe thought this was a compliment, but listing 3 other legendary afro-descended singers who aren't even in the same genre, vocal category, or era as anderson feels a bit pointless. the only thing they all have in common with her are them all being black/mixed women singers lmao

What a voice. Thank God for her!

Happy 125th Birthday to Marian Anderson!

She sings with such emotion and feeling i am mesmerized.
and such joy.
I lose it when she sings "He's got the little bitty baby in His hands." My mother loved this song.
Mil Gracias por estos videos que nos han permitido ver en vivo a la maravillosa y grande Marian Anderson!!!GRACIAS.
2020 I fell asleep in a south philly row home last night listening to Marian Anderson, amazed she came from here and wish more locals knew about her

Dame Marian Anderson!!!!!.-
Beautiful.
I miss her
Truly special. My highest regards to you
Thank you so much!
목소리가 너무 특이하고 신비스러워요
저음과 고음에 따라 여러 사람이 번갈아가면서 노래 부르는 것 같아요
그런데 위대하다고 느낄 만큼 노래를 잘하네요🎉❤😂

Parabéns 🎉
She inspire Leontyne Price. ever.
Yes, a great vocalist. But my question is, is that Victor Borge at the Piano?
"FALSETTO ... a method of voice production used by male singers, especially tenors, to sing notes higher than their normal range."
Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, and Shirley Bassey would benefit from learning such masterful delivery as Marian showed.

Well today I have a project on her and I'm just checking her voice, idk why people in history liked this kind of music's 🙂
Because it isn’t auto tuned
And because a famous music conductor upon hearing her said, hers is the voice that comes once in a century.
Tienen un gorrion en la garganta 😅
Not as impressive as I thought it'd be but in fairness I just listened to Evgenia Leguna so you know... High bar to reach.
who?
