@@Juho-uf8si Accurate? bro, the su-57 is a useless trash. F-22 being mid depends, in a dogfight nothing can really touch it but since the electronics are 20 years old in and the radar too it's not that great for BVR.

The problem is France doesn't need a bunch of copy-paste vehicles to fill in the gaps it has. France has French vehicles that can be added, but Gaijin would rather dilute the French tech tree with vehicles that won't add anything special. This is ultimately a problem of their own making.
This just seems like an argument to try and justify a decision not many people like. The position that BeNeLux will be nothing but a positive for France is a bad one to take.
Ps: One more thing from another video that I'll reiterate here. BeNeLux being exclusive to France will lock them from being added elsewhere, and the possibility of France getting Spanish or Swiss vehicles that are actually connected to France will also go down drastically.

the issue is that the game tech tree has stopped being "specialized" long time ago, still hoping for "anything special" in a tech tree is literally out of touch, cuz Gaijin has decided to generalize every single tech tree for accessability instead.
and with this direction, BeNeLux vehicles in French tech tree is indeed very positive.

@@black_thunder2159 The problem is that we don't even know what BeNeLux will bring if Gaijin is actually planning anything.
If it's just a bunch of copy-paste vehicles that take away from what can be added then it's definitely a negative, because it will just bloat the tech tree, likely leaving less room for domestic vehicles.
The position that we should just support every tech tree being homogenized is stupid at best, because there's no point in playing all the tech trees if everyone has the same things. It's been said that if a certain vehicle is the best and multiple tech trees have it, then you'd see nothing but that one vehicle.
So two FACTS that show that it's not just a positive, there's many risks that could bring negative consequences.
The USH with the recoilless rifle isn't Swedish but was used by Belgian mercenaries in the Congo (first the hands now dolls...)
Gaijin just needs some new game modes and to add the missing cold war aircraft like the su15 Flagon, F101 Voodoo, etc

Don't keep repeating the old myth the armour was so bad that's why the battle cruisers died. Nit was ammo storage. The fleet hadn't trained and the guy in charge ordered the ships remove their fire and explosion protection and stored munitions through the corridors to the guns to allow faster reloading. This latent stupidity was the problem for most the bc that detonated. Those that didn't do this had similar armour but survived, some of which were still fighting admirably in ww2.
Yeah battlecruisers really fell out of favor just because battleships have better armament for artillery bombardment (Most battleships success in ww2 was just firing into islands and shore fortifications).
A lot of later battleships also lowered their raw armor on paper in favor of layers of angled armor as well which was more effective.
Could newer battlecruisers be built? Yes, but they weren’t so you had vessels that weren’t much faster than older battleships, less armor, less firepower ,and less advanced fire control systems in many cases.

The thing about the Brits and why they had so many is because they were used to replace the heavy cruiser in the fleet. Brits found a battle cruiser could support battleships with speed and fire power while operate to hunt raiders and smaller brouos smaller then battleships with little support. The heavy cruiser just became obsolete to the Brits.
My guessing is when battleships became reliably as fast as battlecruisers the speed no longer became a needed asset and the lack of heavier cruisers over time to contend with made that role obsolete with the newer generations of light cruisers with their considerable capabilities.
germany doesn't need Netherlands for ground but they do for air. Not much to add before the eurofighter

they will have swiss f-18 and problaly some polish or austrian plane too so it will be fine for them
@@TikerFighter I hate it. I mainly play France, and we have a million things we need more than some overrated german armor box. They're just avoiding the UAE Leclerc, SXXI AZUR, Leclerc T4, etc.
And of course, they won't just buff the Leclercs to make them good. They ignore the facts to make them worse than they should be
France doesn't need a subtree, it needs the VEXTRA 120, the EBRC, Panhard Sphynx, not the most overrated MBT in service

I mean having a bunch of aircraft with similar characteristics at around the same BR wouldn’t be terrible nor do I hate the continuous iteration of the M60 even within the same nation. If I die, I just come back in practically the same vehicle without having to spend a backup. The issue is the grind. It takes so damn long just to get something you pretty much already have. Also I’m hoping we get the F-117 at some point if they ever consider adding stealth as a mechanic. It’s slow, unmaneuverable and only theoretically gets AIM-9s if any air to air weapons and I believe only one of them ever got a radar installed. It would be a very soft introduction to stealth rather than adding something insane like the F-22 or YF-23.
No f-117 is ever documented as having any air to air capability. Only has any record of carrying 2 count them 2 bombs

Yep, and while France has fewer coastal boats than some nations, they've got some interesting ones. Including the hilarity of a barge with a literal Sherman tank permanently mounted to it.

With HMS Queen Mary coming, we need SMS Seydlitz, a unique German battlecruiser and the ship that sank Queen Mary.
As for a BeNeLux subtree for France, I don't really have a problem with it, but honestly I think it's not strictly necessary. Belgium alone would actually do a lot to bolster France. But Dutch stuff will help too, so why not.

I don't know if you've done a video already, but I'd love to see your thoughts on the commonwealth vehicles and why quite a number of them go into the American tech tree. You mentioned several points of view generally go into the thought process of where these type of vehicles should go, but from a political/historical side they're part of the UK Commonwealth and from the side of 'Does this nation really need this?' although the UK tree is certainly a good tree which would you consider is better from an overall look at the tree: UK or USA?

Please, only be Belgium. Belgium actually used French aircraft and would have 1 domesticly produced low-tier plane. Belgium also has French cultural influences, unlike the Netherlands who are closer to German and predominantly use American aircraft.

Would anyone play coastal if it was added to France? Costal just doesn’t seem to have a place at the moment, other than being food for DDs.. it would be nice if they’d re balance costal, like making them stealthy l, so they aren’t auto detected by DDs unless they are very close. Or have to be manually targeted.. I’ve had a load of whale man achievements to get recently, it’s so bloody annoying when you come around an island to ambush a DD and its secondaries light you up immediately..
The key is to uptier the fast bois with good torpedoes all the way to top-tier (or very near) to sneak around to the enemy spawn and sink oblivious, camping capital ships - Gotten quite a few good kills doing that ;)

It's not an issue of "they are only working on one or the other" its that at the end of the day updates dont have a huge amount of content. What they do have is spread throughout 8 nations and 3 gamemodes. Sure the french stuff will come in, but when? I think people are more pissed about an update focused on copypaste rather than focusing on unique stuff

Bro why the given BENELUX for france...will add a subtree without much future perspective with different things.
It's really worth having a sub tree that ends at f16 block 10 so that later in the distant future you can have f35.
Why don't they put an Egyptian or Algerian subtree.
There are many more different vehicles to add in the short and medium term than an F16A and an F35.
if they want to expand some nations with subtree that are nations that have a direct relationship with countries, Belgium in this case has, but part of Belgium is part of the Germanic community as well.
the concept of subtree needs to change a little, instead of being a subtree from a specific country it should be from specific communities.
countries that have historical, linguistic, cultural relations and mainly arms purchase relations linked to the main nation.
in a way, gaijin got the community concept right but the execution isn't very good, the fifth line of tectree should be a line of related countries where they would add different vehicles for these nations that have a certain "lack of vehicles", to fill gaps without being tied to a specific country.
for example, with this 5 flexible tree, you could add the swiss f18 for Germany, Italy and France.
Could add Polish f16s for Germany, Danish f16s for Sweden.
Could add mig 29 north koreans for the chinese, better versions of the f15 koreans for the japanese.
A sub tree should be that, it should be a flex line to fill in gaps in these civs without being linked to a specific "subnation"
I personally do not give a crap where they will be, all i want are dutch ships, if they do come, I'll definitely main them instead of italy.

For belgium, it’s army is under French command in a case of war.
But conversely, doesn't the Netherlands have similar military integration with Germany? Including the only remaining Dutch tanks being in a joint battalion with the Germany Army.

About adding BeNeLux to the french tech tree, it would be a good idea especially sonce the Mirage 2000 doesn't seems to be that good, it would rebalance the french TT until they add the Rafale.

Hungary ground has done almost nothing for Italy. They either add to lineups they already had or are all by themselves at a br no Italian vehicles support so don't get played or are dragged up.
There is the Leo 2A7 HU in the near future. Could be even next patch as it's not that much different than the 2A7V Germany currently has.
@@kerotomas1 but a whole line for 1 or 2 vehicles does not fix a tree. Hungary didn't fill any gaps and the br adjustments due to performance made the little they did to help even more useless. Don't get me wrong some of them are nice vehicles but they just don't have lineups so fixed nothing.

Not Hungary's fault that Gaijin chose to model only like 10% of their vehicles and call it a day. Hungary would have been much more useful if Gaijin actually tried to model a good amount of Hungarian vehicles.
