That SMG pointed at my back is the only thing keeping my trusty bolt action pointed to the front. And that’s a good thing. Also the skin came out lovely, neat trick. If I survive both the enemies bullets and your own I will try it out sometime. Reminds me of the Vallejo steel + black ink trick.

First time checking out a video, first of all great paintjob, I also like to paint in brighter on top, although you do battle scratches that I often forget (but want) and actually fully paint it.. well played (not jealous at all..) The actual tutorial is both nicely filmed but also explained very well.

All of it is well done, awesome. Some of the rare video that music is levelling up and down where it needs to be. I love the painting I’m still a Neanderthal at painting, I’m sure one day I will evolve. I have been avoiding using music on my channel mainly because I usually get annoyed the music. I often muted vids and read caption instead.

Its a combat jacket, not a tunic, and the little leather thing over the boots are called gaiters. Gas masks are respirators and the pouch it goes in is a respirator pouch. The weapons has a foregrip, pistol grip and stock, not a butt stock. Calling it butt stock gets the virgins all riled up and teetering.
It is a military tunic since it goes below the waist. The foregrip can also be called a forend of the gun. Also the whole back end could be called the stock but since I painted the very back end of the stock metal, I called it a butt stock to represent the very back of the stock. @@nukakitten At the risk of being branded as a heritic, I've never painted a Gaurdsman or a Marine In my day (Damn I feel old!) it was Ral Partha and Testors enamels paints so complete noob!
@@jamesdeeds8799 Although oil paint and enamel paints look good there also toxic. So handling the paints require ventilation and gloves. I prefer to paint and promote using acrylic base since there safe and not toxic. 😁
No toxic paints here guardsman. I die a little inside everytime I see some one not use gloves or in a well ventilated area. I like how oil washes look but prefer not to use toxic paints. I used a pro acryl newsh wash that's supposed to act like an oil wash on my custodes video 😁
You're obviously new to painting. Start with the eyes, then the face, then the Balaclava, boots, clothes, armor, gaiters, web gear, weapon, hands. Your tryingnto put wet paint past areas with dry paint. Watching you struggle to paint the face AFTER painting the balaclava was PAINFUL. Work from the lowest levels, start with the eyes so that you can clean up any thing thats putside the lines with the flesh color of the face. Think of it topographically, start in the valley and work your way to the peaks.
You’re easy to watch, a lil out of the norm, great taste in music “badassitude” Spotify, your painting is well above game play requirements. I’m gonna give you a solid well done. With the skits and enhanced drama I bet you’d be fun to play against…

@@nukakitten take Vallejo steel 71.065 and Vallejo black ink 72.094 and mix them together for the smoothest steel :) it’s really neat !
