    Oh my god. I've had the Screen Violence for almost 4 months now and didn't even realize it has an expression jack. Now I'm going to be busy for the rest of the year. Thank you and I love you.

      Happy to hear I was able to breathe some new life into your Screen Violence. It's just the coolest pedal!

      @@thepedalzone For sure, it's definitely my desert island pedal. Also, I can't think of any dirt pedal that has stereo ins and outs. I've been putting my EHX Nano Pulsar stereo into it for panning and rotary and it's phenomenal how the sweep intensifies the gain on the sweeps. If you have a Nano Pulsar, I highly recommend it.

    Very useful the expression pedal for the drunk bendings, so nice! I like the EQD Aqueduct spefically for that sound :)

    Amazing stuff, Stefan! I'm not sure if I'm behind the ball on this, but do you have a bandcamp or anything like that where you post your pedal jams? If not, I would absolutely love to see that at some point in the future!

      @thepedalzone  11 місяців тому +2

      Thank you very much, man! No, don't have a bandcamp or anything that hosts the jams other than here on UA-cam. But I'll think about uploading them to other streaming platforms. Thanks for the input :)

    Stefan! I recommend you to check Dedalo Pixel 2 or the the new version. If you like bitcrushers with fuzz and 8 bit realted synths, this is a very interesting pedal

    How do you like the IR-200? Does it match up to the ACS1 for running direct into an interface? Fabulous video as always!!

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  11 місяців тому +1

      I absolutely adore the IR-200. Been a game changer for me, as I’ve started working more from home after becoming a dad to twins last year. This entire demo, plus the majority of my demos this year, has been recording with the IR-200 going directly into my recording interface. So if you’ve enjoyed the sounds, then you’ll enjoy the way the IR-200 sounds. I can’t compare it to the ACS1, since I haven’t tried that one.

    Apologies if you've covered this already somewhere, but are you running this in the effects loop of the IR200? If you are I can't believe how good the dirt sounds after the pre-amp.... Great stuff as always sir

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  5 місяців тому

      Yeah, I'm running it in the fx loop of the IR-200. You can change the placement of the fx loop to be either post EQ or Pre Cab. When using dirt I'm always running it pre-cab to get some of that natural filtering you would get from an amp. Happy you liked the tones!

    Sounds so good the "shoegaze" sound ala MBV like.
    whats set up you use un the Boss IR-200 and you don't have a Review of the Boss IR-200?

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  11 місяців тому +1

      Happy you enjoyed the Shoegazer example. That's my favorite as well. Just using the Natural amp in the IR200. I think that's a phenomenal pedal platform tone. Love the IR200 so much. But no, I don't have a demo of it on my channel. Only recently got it, but it's been an absolute game changer for me and the way I can record my demos now.

    In the second example (Shoegaze), you almost need another pedal to dynamically automate the ramper....! As always, cool ideas, cool effects.... =)

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  11 місяців тому

      Hmmm... Honestly don't know. My style is an amalgamation of everything I've listened to throughout the years, it's difficult to directly pin point artists that sound like that. But if you don't know Bibio, then check him out. Wouldn't say he sounds like what I'm playing there, but he's definitely been a big influence on me when it comes to more chill lo-fi guitar movements

    Hi Stefan
    Thank you for your videos,
    They are very informative and inspirational,
    I was wondering if you know of what peddles I can use to help create this sound?
    ua-cam.com/video/mdqNshgDwtQ/v-deo.html
    Also I was wondering if you could please do a video on how to play certain pedals for beginners, like what techniques work well with certain pedals, e. g what works well for lofi delay or gain griity pedals etc....
    Thanks Rhys

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  11 місяців тому +1

      Thank you, Rhys! Really honored to hear you find the videos helpful. Regarding the Silent Hill track you linked to, there's a lot of different sounds in it. What specific guitar sound in the track is it you want to recreate?
      And thanks for the video idea. I'll look into it :)

    • @rhyshorler6266
      @rhyshorler6266 11 місяців тому

      Thank you Stefan
      Regarding Silent Hill track I was thinking the main guitar that is quite prominent at 0:22 plus the more gritty sounding guitar at 1:22 🙂
      Regarding videos I was thinking that because you have such a beautiful sound, and been playing for so long you can show beginners what basic techniques work for certain pedals, while demoing the pedals the same time, and I think it can help to attract new people who like to learn to play certain styles including lofi etc.... 🙂
      And still keep doing your regular awsome videos 🙂

      Hi Stefan
      Checking out some real cool pedals on your channel.
      I think Beautiful Noise Exploder for the grain and noise combined with a vinly warp pedel may work well for the tone, or something similar to the TEFI Vintage Lab Golden Era that maybe able to do it all?
      Can I buy Pedels off your shop in the UK?
