This is the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Beam Splitter, a pedal designed to give us musicians the thing we always crave. MORE. More sound, more width and more texture in order to give us a massive sound from a single instrument.

@@thepedalzone Hey is the beamsplitter going in front of amp like a normal dirt pedal or is it going into the fx loop :) ? I was not sure ir could not find out because 1 of my amp does have a fx loop !
When I saw the OBNE announcemenf on Insta, I moaned "Oh, is that it? ANOTHER drive pedal? Oh well." Then i clicked on your demo because it's you, thinking: "At least Stefan will pull some epic riffs out if it." Holy crap do I love being proven this wrong. What an amazing device. 3 drives (4 really), parallel routing, delay/doubling controls, mono or stereo combinations, expression-controlled modulation thrown in... Beam Splitter is special. And then there's your playing, & that most triumphant track at the end. Your demo disproved my initial bogus response and revealed this pedal as a way to be excellent to each other. Party on dudes!
That 3:23 riff…made me rewind multiple times. Otherworldly. That is some mean, mean guitar riffing, my friend! Keep killing these demos!

This was just another pedal to my ears until you started playing exactly the kind of music that this pedal is made to excel at. I know it sounds restrictive but that is now up to the final users.

EASILY the best demo out there. Love all my other people but you’ve once again demonstrated distinct sounds that are all intriguing, usable, and fully showcase the pedal’s capabilities. A video manual that’s a pleasure to the ears. (Just like your Hydra demo - I reference it for specific settings.)

I was wondering if you get an unreasonable amount of hiss out of this pedal? This is my third old blood noise endeavors pedal and the first one i have that makes a stupid amount of white noise when activated. I have to turn down blue and green completely to make it go away. :(

@thepedalzone I've loved O'brother since I watched them open for The Dillinger Escape Plan in 2016? Sometime around then. And I got a bad concussion during Dillinger and the bouncer had to hold me up that last part of their set lol. I know they started their Encore with 43% burnt. But I have no idea what happened after that. There's more to the story but that's enough lol. Car Bomb was before O'brother I believe. So it was a perfect show. All kinds of bands.

If by a different run, it somewhat includes something like a preset option and/or midi implementation, it will become by far a god.
Presets would definitely be nice. This pedal contains a lot of sounds

Thank you! The Beam Splitter is placed in the FX Loop of the Boss IR-200 which is my amp simulator. So it's Guitar -> Boss IR-200 (Beam splitter in stereo fx loop) -> Recording Interface

A lot of these sounds remind me of using a Portastudio 4 track as a pedal. I took the idea from the band Medicine.

Hey there Stefan, not sure if you'll see this, seeing as the video is a few months old- but I figured I'd ask it here, as this video is about that gnarly OD/Distortion.
I've recently picked up a Revv D20 to use, of course, as a pedal platform amp. I noticed you used one for quite a few of your videos in the past, and though you don't usually talk too much about that end of the signal chain in these videos, I was wondering if you could give me any advice on how you'd set yours when using it with some higher gain pedals?
I don't have a ton of experience with "pedal platform" (cleaner) amps, usually opting for the higher gain amps to start with. However I'm trying to get the most out of my D20 with something like the EAE Longsword in front of it to provide dirt. Any tips or tricks for using the D20 (or any cleaner pedal platform amp) with high gain pedals?

Push the power amp instead of the pre-amp. So raise LEVEL and keep GAIN low. Set EQ to taste :) If I remember correctly, I had my MIDS pushed a bit, TREBLE and BASS cut a bit. Hope that helps.

The unused channel will be summed in parallel with the Purple channel
