Seems like there's an education gap between physics and calculus that usually is not filled in the classroom. I'm so grateful that this material is so easily accessible online.

I think it's due to the fact that the Electric Potential doesn't have a vector and is only dependent on Q and r (and epsilon 0 of course). And the position of your charge in respect to the point where you are measuring the electric potential doesn't matter as long as it stays at the same distance.

@@PerJohannessen Hmm. I don’t really consciously know what I’m doing. I just try to empathize with the learner. Try to think of a good logical flow to ideas and focus on misconceptions and let it flow :)
