I know you’re not using the trap magnets anymore, but I would add it to the VAN-CBJ game. The Canucks had to do a lot of workaround to travel it to Columbus because of the snowstorms, and with this being an early start they might not hit the ground running.
At least they made it safely, so that’s what matters.
I’m going to be grumbling at my work desk listening to the Devils/Bruins. Hopefully it doesn’t escalate any further than that.

Sam Carrick (along with the rest of the team) did have a solid start to the season. I’m kind of surprised he’s been that long without a point. He’s a good 4th line grinder that capable of the occasional goal

I feel like everyone keeps looking at points and offence, would love more insight on harder to judge as a casual... Defence! +/- helps there a bit, hits sometimes, but you being in a unique spot of watching so many games, I'd love your perspective of good or badly playing players in terms of defence. Like lots of people underestimate the defensive game of a Nico Hischier, and lots of blue lines seem very focused on point producing D-men, but would love to have an idea of those shutdown defencemen, the ones you put out in the penalty kill or against top lines, or the ones you use in the third period to protect a lead!

I hope Vancouver wins this game. They have played a lot of hockey lately. Be pretty tired by the end of this trip. Jump on them early. Maybe if lucky 2-3 goal lead in the first and then counter for the rest of the game. This one is a coin toss. I think we still have an edge. So strange that we have done so well this year.
