    After a long hiatus, this was the first knitted item I made just for me, and I love it!!!
    Striking design, yet simple enough to learn with. I want to make one for all the people I care for. Thanks so much for all the time and effort. 🥰

    This is my first brioche project!! I'm just past the tubular cast on and a few rows into the brioche and it's coming together. I attempted a gauge swatch 5 times (4 frogs 🐸🐸🐸 before I finally succeeded and was confident enough to start the project. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

    Very clear directions and video which was so helpful. This is my first brioche pattern and am liking the process. Needed to view videos on correcting mistakes. Would be a good idea to provide some info on fixing mistakes which seem to happen no matter how careful you are. My one question concerns the spacing of the markers for the top. Are you counting from the markers for the decreases? I was confused about this spacing.

    Thank you very much! I already tried my first hat it came out super super beautiful. Thank you. I have one question, if I want to make the cast on with my primer color what modifications I need to do in the first brioche row?

    thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial !! I just finished my first brioche beanie! My final seam is not perfectly aligned as I cast on an in between size, but it still looks pretty good :)

    Will it work if i use 40cm/16 inch long round needles instead of the us 6 12 inch long that you use? Really hard to find 12 inch long round needles in Sweden apparently 😅

    Hi, thanks for this wonderful tutorial! I look forward to knitting this hat. I have some Patons Classic worsted scraps that I’d like to use for a hat. I know it’s a little thicker than a DK, but do you think it would be possible to use for this pattern? Would many modifications be required?

    • @Originally.Lovely
      @Originally.Lovely  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you!! I do think that yarn might work… this hat is very stretchy so you might just need to go down a size. I would probably just do a gauge swatch to be sure!!

    May I use a provisional tubular cast on? I have not been able to master the method you demonstrate in the video.

    Followed along really well.. then dropped stitches when flipping inside out.. couldn't figure out what I dropped and after like 2 hours of trying to fix it I frogged the whole thing. Fml.

      @Originally.Lovely I was really just being dramatic because I was literally 30 minutes away from a party. I will definitely try again. I had all of my long cords on projects, so I tried the dangerous task of passing the knitting through when on dpns. I'm still fairly new to brioche and I was so excited that I was doing a darn good job that when I broke down trying to figure out what I did wrong that I made it worse and worse. It's funny now.

    Cast on looks terrible and row 2 makes no sense. I have tried multiple times now with 64 stitches (adult small), doing everything according to your pattern/video. It never looks like what you make in the video.
