That's Epic! I thought I wanted to bodyboard Jaws when I was in my 30's, until I went and watched it in person in 2005, around 50-60'. I'd bodyboarded 35' + waves up to then, but the wind coming up the face is something else. Great riding, especially that last wave! Keep charging!
35 is still massive!! Yeah man, it’s always different when you are there and can feel the power.. I thought something similar about big (not gigantic) Nazare but in person it’s something else 🤯
Eh...I could do that. Just not...on purpose, intentionally, and living to tell about it later. Other than that it's a piece of cake. Thanks for the video and for sharing that wave with us, very cool indeed!
First of absolute charging.... Just curious when chasing big swells why you don't try out a fiber glass boards? Even with some form of a fin. Would you not be able to get in a bit earlier and get more speed? I have no idea just thought crossed my mind 🤙
My whole channel is about Bodyboarding on the artificial waves (Flowriders, Pro Flows, ect.) so I'm surprised these videos don't come up more often. Completely different sport though. I've chatted with hundreds of Bodyboarders who can't 360 on a Flowrider and its easy to see why from these videos because the positioning is so different.
Beg to differ, he was hanging on because that is what u do on a big wave. A surfer tries to stay on his board, we try to hang on. Big wave riders of either persuasion are out there trying to survive not trying to do tricks
@@ccm4052obviously meant no offence. I'm a proud bodyboarder, so my comment comes from a very positive place. I'm sure he's a great booger, just fundamentally I find that difficult to watch. Mike by contrast has his lines and body position on outer reefs absolutely nailed though. My comment has zero to do with tricks, just lines and approach

I never thought bodyboard was hard. But the impact on every bump on the way down that this guy takes make it look like a boxing match. Roughneck!
Well, let’s be honest it’s not for waves like this😂😂
Yewwwww now that is some serious boogie action! Let's go 🤟 come to mavericks this winter 🌊🦈

Dude charges🤙🤙🤙 every time I see this guy charge jaws, I am taken back to the 90s when Mike Stewart and Temega charged big jaws. Great watch👍👍👍
Old school ! Tamega is a Beast! Mike a monster!
lets goo! I watched the last vid of andy charging jaws for the 88Kth time, so so stoked for this one!
Haha yeah that's a sick one too, this one is a bit more meaty and has a ton of new footage!
@@WeBodyboard_Official Sick! keep up the great work!!
You don't see too many people getting barrelled on waves of that size. Good stuff fella

Crazy 😮🤪😊

After watching this, I now understand why it is mad difficult to surf big waves on a bodyboard.

Crazy bruh!!! 🙌🏽💪🏽👍🏽🔥🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
hats off, no doubting the man's cojones! Hanging on more than conquering though.

Epic !
Wonder what board he's riding. Any idea?
His own model with Congo Bodyboards
I'm curious what the dimensions of his board is? Was the core a polypropylene or a polyethylene ?
I’m not sure, search Andrew Karr on Insta, he will be able to tell you 👌
Would love to know what board he is using 🌊
It’s his own Congo model 👌
Big balls
You need a carbon board whit extra weight !
Literal definition of "charging".
That's the thing with bodyboarding - it just doesn't look at good as surfing, does it? Still - must be so fun !
is he being towed in on a bodyboard?
Soo sick when u drag your....
🤣🤣
why is that funny
Biggest ive bodyboard was 10 foot wave
sweet!!
Ahh...it's ok...my nephew charged jaws bigger than that at 15yrs old, and my friend Myles DK'd jaws a few years ago double those..but good action!🤙🏾
Nice , but I don't think Peahi can be "conquered"
For sure man, that's even what i wrote in the description. But Andrew will always give it a good go!
@@WeBodyboard_Official he did pretty well!
bowing down to stand up surfers .. be proud of what you post and don’t explain shit
@@MrTko08 Who said anything about bowing down?

Small day for stand ups huge day for bodyboards🤣
