I am brand new to painting (just a few months) and have so much to learn. Even the most minor detail can be an eye-opener for someone so new. I am looking forward to new videos! I’m so happy your back. I’ve improved my painting skills so much with your help. I would love real time no editing. If there was music playing in your background that would be ok with me but I prefer to hear your real time voice while you describe your work rather then a voice over. Real time. I can fast forward if I choose. No music is probably better because everyone has different taste. I might suggest ,however, trying nature sounds in the background that inspire you relating to the subject matter. I would love to see more of your mural work and tips on brushes, paint , etc. No one really does this. Glad you are back. I love your composition. Your pieces are interesting which is something difficult for many to capture. Many of us try to hard. Simple is better. The same goes for your videos. Why make it more difficult on yourself? Thank you for getting us caught up. First, I'm happy to hear you have forged a new path for yourself. Kudos to you! I have only done your wave video and enjoyed the full video very much as I felt I was right there with you... I was able to pause where needed and I could simply skip through if I wanted. Plus 1 for full video! If you want to have music playing while you paint, you should do so and not worry about negative comments, but I would not go to the extra trouble to add music in. IMO, unless you are working toward paid subscriptions, you should do what works best for you. Your work is wonderful and you are very generous to give your time freely ... thank you! Hey Debbie! So excited that you are back! I am cool with no music and happy to have the full length videos. Perhaps I would suggest making a spotify playlist of all the songs you typically like to inlcude in your videos so that your "students" who do like your music can have access to it, but that way it doesn't add more editing work for you.

I am really happy you are back. And I am ok with no music, I liked your music but I will be ok without it. And real time videos are ok as well. One thing to consider though is some people might not click on videos that are too long, I will always click on your videos but someone who does not know how awesome your videos are might be discouraged over a tutorial that is too long.

To answer your question: I love your music you play on your videos, but if it helps to just have it at the beginning and end, whatever helps you do. Second I don't mind you speeding through parts of the tutorial. I always pause when I need to catch up anyway. Looking forward to painting again with you.

Yipee YiYeahYiYo!!! So happy to hear you are coming back to tutorials as well as that you are happy...again. I have been seeing your mural posts & they are magnificent! I would love to paint some of the cacti & succulents... As far as your questions go...have you ever thought of hitting up your local high school or colleges for students who might be interested in helping you out w editing? I'm not sure what dept they would be in...media editing,theatrical...but I follow an artist, Angela Anderson, who used to have the same issues w editing & she got 1 of her sons school pals to help her edit & he's been doing it over a year now...She does 2 YT lives a week as well as some Patreon shows as well on Crowdcast...as they handle the time better than YT...breaking show down into segments...15 min intermissions...some shows going 6hrs...she will do bonus videos as well which are month long...1x a wk til painting done...I am1 of her moderator's to help weed out trolls as well as help in her color BINGO shows! Her Patreon group has alot of members that not only help her w supplies but they just did a complete remodel of home & she thanked all of us Patreon members for making it happen. I am a $10 month member... I also think that if music makes you happy,relaxed,while painting...you should keep it going.I loved your show,as is...& know...you cannot make everyone happy. If some find it a nuisance...well...without wanting to sound rude,mean...there are many artists on YT... If music editing is an issue...again...just give your editing assistant your play list & let them work their magic! I would watch your tutorials for whatever length of time you aired...you are a great teacher & I love your techniques... Sorry for the ramble but...it's great to see you happy & not having to deal w hard sad decisions any longer If ever you need help w keeping trolls away...I would be happy to offer my hammer!

You have been missed! Music, I personally like your selections. Easy on the brain, unlike my own typical fare of Tom Waits, Leonard cohen, Tool, or some deep, dark blues. Just to name a few. I believe your offering of simply portions being present during the intro/outro only is extremely equitable and would probably ease some of your involvement with posting. Sounds like a win for all (except perhaps 'haters' and those inflicted with limited tolerance). Before I close, I wish to compliment your work in those murals! I used to do similar and found them rather liberating -- detail could be accomplished on a grander scale which alleviated the tension of making the puzzle pieces fit. I'll have to see if there are any photos of them to share...there is a sad story involved with a few and they were eliminated or destroyed all within a few months after my friend, who worked with me on them, has passed. Dismal tale. Anyway, I am very glad to see you have rejoined the yt piecemeal parade and truly wish you success and joy in all aspects of your work and family! Thank you for your kindness, all of the beautiful paintings shared and for considering us in your planning! I won't speak for any other but I am glad to see the revival of this channel. Welcome back Debbie, glad things are settling down for you again. We missed you. Yes to intro and outro music which can be the same for every video thus saving you time sourcing, editing etc. You can outsource your video editing, look on "Fivr.com" for editing services. Many You Tubers do this. Often it is done by Philipinos who speak good English and have lower rates than in U.S.. Livestreaming is another route many take to eliminate editing. I think art tutorials are ideally suited to this as a "paint along" type of lesson. I personaly think fast forwarding obvious repetetive parts is o.k. we probably all do it ourselves anyway I know, but a very long watch time may put some people off watching your videos in the first place, thus reducing your following.

Yeah so glad you are back, someday maybe you could do pop up in person classes (when Covid is gone, of course). Id just find a person online and hire someone exclusively to edit and post your videos. Save yourself the time, its worth it! Don't care about music one way or another, yes please dont speed up the video during painting, Thank You sooo much, and beautiful murals!!

You are a wonderful artist and I value that way more than the techy stuff. Hi Debbie , I know you remember me!!!! I'm Bobby The one who finally Got the Phoenix Palm done and on my channel. YAY!!! so nice to have you back. I never really had a problem with the music. I use music in my ride along videos. Many people have told me Bobby the music is distracting I would rather hear your voice. So I know what you mean Debbie. I thought the music in my videos would make them less boring, lol lol . But it is a compliment that people would rather hear us. And as I think about it I would rather hear you than some random music so now I get it. lol lol. also people like me I don't mind longer videos so no need to fast forward them. I know when I did the Palm tree for my channel I fast forwarded too. Some people would rather hear what we are saying because that way they might learn more about our thought process. so I say anything that makes it easier for the over all process like Nike says JUST DO IT, lol lol. we Just want more tutorials from you and love your presents on UA-cam so welcome back my sweet friend I have missed you. I didn't mind your music especially with the sped up videos. I typically like those kinds of videos because a hour or so video is a lot to commit to. Maybe do some real time and some sped up. Honestly, if people didn't like your music they can mute it. It's great seeing you back! I was wondering what happened to you but of course, this year has been nutty so figured you had other things going on.
Just want to watch you paint. Yes to no music. Yes to real time. Sorry you have gone through difficult times. It is important you enjoy your art and having to do all that stuff can make it a chore. No music is a good idea. Can’t please everyone! we’re here to learn. Real time is perfect. I believe if you paint and teach as you go along, there will be no need to edit much. No need for perfection on your end, just be you, mistakes and all.

That’s a good idea. I’m not THAT concerned about the music or that it has to be specific music. I want people to enjoy what they like themselves.

To answer your question: I love your music you play on your videos, but if it helps to just have it at the beginning and end, whatever helps you do. Second I don't mind you speeding through parts of the tutorial. I always pause when I need to catch up anyway. Looking forward to painting again with you.

As far as your questions go...have you ever thought of hitting up your local high school or colleges for students who might be interested in helping you out w editing? I'm not sure what dept they would be in...media editing,theatrical...but I follow an artist, Angela Anderson, who used to have the same issues w editing & she got 1 of her sons school pals to help her edit & he's been doing it over a year now...She does 2 YT lives a week as well as some Patreon shows as well on Crowdcast...as they handle the time better than YT...breaking show down into segments...15 min intermissions...some shows going 6hrs...she will do bonus videos as well which are month long...1x a wk til painting done...I am1 of her moderator's to help weed out trolls as well as help in her color BINGO shows!
Her Patreon group has alot of members that not only help her w supplies but they just did a complete remodel of home & she thanked all of us Patreon members for making it happen. I am a $10 month member...
I also think that if music makes you happy,relaxed,while painting...you should keep it going.I loved your show,as is...& know...you cannot make everyone happy. If some find it a nuisance...well...without wanting to sound rude,mean...there are many artists on YT...
If music editing is an issue...again...just give your editing assistant your play list & let them work their magic!
I would watch your tutorials for whatever length of time you aired...you are a great teacher & I love your techniques...

I would suggest you just make your videos as it is easier for you. Do not stress yourself too much, they still should be enjoyable for you, too! Real time is also really relaxing for me.

Music, I personally like your selections. Easy on the brain, unlike my own typical fare of Tom Waits, Leonard cohen, Tool, or some deep, dark blues. Just to name a few. I believe your offering of simply portions being present during the intro/outro only is extremely equitable and would probably ease some of your involvement with posting. Sounds like a win for all (except perhaps 'haters' and those inflicted with limited tolerance).
Before I close, I wish to compliment your work in those murals! I used to do similar and found them rather liberating -- detail could be accomplished on a grander scale which alleviated the tension of making the puzzle pieces fit. I'll have to see if there are any photos of them to share...there is a sad story involved with a few and they were eliminated or destroyed all within a few months after my friend, who worked with me on them, has passed. Dismal tale.
Anyway, I am very glad to see you have rejoined the yt piecemeal parade and truly wish you success and joy in all aspects of your work and family!

Welcome back Debbie, glad things are settling down for you again. We missed you. Yes to intro and outro music which can be the same for every video thus saving you time sourcing, editing etc. You can outsource your video editing, look on "Fivr.com" for editing services. Many You Tubers do this. Often it is done by Philipinos who speak good English and have lower rates than in U.S.. Livestreaming is another route many take to eliminate editing. I think art tutorials are ideally suited to this as a "paint along" type of lesson. I personaly think fast forwarding obvious repetetive parts is o.k. we probably all do it ourselves anyway I know, but a very long watch time may put some people off watching your videos in the first place, thus reducing your following.

Yeah so glad you are back, someday maybe you could do pop up in person classes (when Covid is gone, of course). Id just find a person online and hire someone exclusively to edit and post your videos. Save yourself the time, its worth it!

No music is fine but I like your music and real time video is good. I never really had a problem with the music. I use music in my ride along videos. Many people have told me Bobby the music is distracting I would rather hear your
voice. So I know what you mean Debbie. I thought the music in my videos would make them less boring, lol lol . But it is a compliment that people would rather hear
us. And as I think about it I would rather hear you than some random music so now I get it. lol lol. also people like me I don't mind longer videos so no need to fast forward them. I know when I did the Palm tree for my channel I fast forwarded too. Some people would rather hear what we are saying because that way they might
learn more about our thought process. so I say anything that makes it easier for the over all process like Nike says JUST DO IT, lol lol. we Just want more tutorials

I didn't mind your music especially with the sped up videos. I typically like those kinds of videos because a hour or so video is a lot to commit to. Maybe do some real time and some sped up. Honestly, if people didn't like your music they can mute it. It's great seeing you back! No music is a good idea. Can’t please everyone! we’re here to learn. Real time is perfect. I believe if you paint and teach as you go along, there will be no need to edit much. No need for perfection on your end, just be you, mistakes and all.
