Yeah I agree, things have changed in her life and added to her life so fast that it can be overwhelming, it’s very different going from just her and her daughter back home to a new state, new home , new husband and 2 new older children. That’s a lot but give yourself grace and take time or a day for yourself, no family, no cameras just you and JESUS .

The children are old enough to be cleaning up after themselves. Picking up their socks, folding and putting the blankets away, sweeping and doing and putting away dishes

Whew! You took the words from my mouth. It'll also make you resentful. I used to be obsessed with perfection and being in control but it made my family crazy. Eggshells... it's a process❤🙏🏽❤
The first time dynamics are a little different so maybe giving her bonus sons a little more grace/space to adopt too. It’s just a lot more “stuff” cause it’s more family living. Personally I would do more “reset” than have “horror” 😂 stories going back home with the babies.

Maybe you should think about hiring an assistant or cleaners. That way you can have help and not feel overwhelmed or depressed. Get some ppl to help you. A lot of times you overthink or over exhaust yourself. Let your husband know you’re tired and you need more help. An assistant, maid, cleaners…. Especially if you want to live the soft life. It seems like you do a lot on your own. Hope that helps
Mya it’s ok to take a break from everything and just be present. Just like a 9-5, a person can’t work forever with no vacations or breaks and expect to bring 100% of themselves to that job or their family. Physical and mental breaks are ok to reset and be the best version of you. If you don’t allow your body and mind to rest it will do it for you with no warning and you won’t be good for anyone even yourself.

It's ok to rest. It is ok to let the children help keep their home refreshed. It teaches them how to be responsible and take pride in their home. I had to learn to delegate as well. Once I did, I was able to put my focus on other things without the added pressure. I enjoy your vlogs! Don't be too hard on yourself.😊

I have my husband, his teenage brother & a toddler son ITS A LOT!!!!!!!!!! And I resent them everytime I clean up 🙈so I am trying to get a helper so that it’s not so stressful on me & them ❤️

Maya you need those mats my son has on his stove like this. It keeps the surfaces clean, no more elbow grease on that stove top. You have to let life take over sometimes. A collective of 3 kids is a lot all at once. And one thing we do is clean, clean, and clean some more. It's a lot and sometimes we disappear while taking care of our family. Combined families are a lot. And don't try and be superwoman. If you do , you will soon find yourself being overwhelmed. When your sons come to visit just keep in mind that your beautiful organized home is now a child friendly home where living takes place on a daily. You're already overwhelmed and we can see that. taking care of your husbands kids for the summer is a big undertaking and Jeff knows this. That is why he came over. You're allowed to be emotional.This is a lot to handle and he is trying to help the best he knows how. He's a good man and he is holding you down, Just keep letting him in and being supportive. I agree that a reset doesn't always give you just one day... I seem to reset all week.. like once a week i do the grocery, one day it is cleaning, one day is laundry, etc. Give yourself grace (I have to separate it since I work 3 jobs and in school plus part time influencer) so give yourself grace as you are in a new phase being a mother, wife, taking care of yourself, and working. I would recommend hitting up Mena Adubea about what she does and she is a full LLC and fulltime influencer.
Maya, your content is fire 🔥 It is informative, relatable, entertaining, etc. Give yourself grace. When you feel overwhelmed just post content you have saved in archives that you have never posted before. That will give you a break from being in front of the camera but will also give us, your subbies, content to view. I hope that made sense.
