I am not the biggest Ghostbusters fan but I enjoyed the movie well enough, even if it was a bit messy. The inclusion of the OG cast mixed with the new cast worked well and there was enough horror elements and comedic jokes that worked for me to walk out having had a good time.

Totally agree Zach, I’m not sure where they can really go from here though; I’m wondering if they’ve exhausted this formula? I’m IN either way but I think they’d need to get pretty creative to shake this up.

Damn dude, those comments under your True Detective video are uncalled for. What I love about your channel is all the comments are real civil, you got a amicable base, but I guess the most pedantic of the pedantic found their way to your videos. Sorry to hear that man. At least you can look at it as a sign that you made it, now you have some haters. Haha.

They kept the teenage lesbian love interest a secret during the previews. Too many subplots and actors.
They should of shelved lucky, podacast, dr wartzki, melody.
Made the 3rd act longer. And made the trevor slimer plot more of a side story. Pinfield and nadeem served their purpose

Phoebe was the worst character and damn near almost ruined the entire movie with her subplot. I knew you were a sus critic the moment I heard you saying 2016 GS “wasn’t that bad”. You ain’t it bother.

As a fan it pains me to say this but I have to be honest - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bad movie.
The film is total a mess. It's boring, poorly paced, confusing, convoluted and overly complicated. There are far too many characters, some of which have been needlessly shoehorned into the story. It's overstuffed with unnecessary dialogue, dull subplots, pointless characters and scenes which go on for far too long. It's not funny either. I didn't laugh once during the movie, and neither did the audience I was watching it with. Neither is it frightening. Laughs and scares are the two things you expect from a Ghostbusters film but this latest entry in the series is completely devoid of any.
Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan may be talented directors, but they're the wrong people to be writing Ghostbusters films. Afterlife was mediocre at best, but Frozen Empire is just plain bad.
With a heavy heart, I rate this film 3 out of 10.
I feel a lot of fans are in denial about just how bad this film is.
