COWABUNGA! Those seashells are humongous! I have never seen a Murex that big!!! And those huge Shark Eyes are everywhere. What a haul! Congratulations on your findings! Holden Beach is going to be on our bucket list. 😀
This was another super fun video to watch. So many species and so many spectacular finds. I'm going to plan a trip up that way for sure! I need to have a shark eye day like yours. Simply amazing!
Thank you so much! That first murex was probably my favorite, I've never seen a beach found specimen that spiky before. The FFCs were really unexpected and it was so cool to see them in decent numbers!
Well HOLY MOLY! Congratulations on these spectacular finds!! I can’t wait for part two! Those Murex shells are incredible! Huge fan of the shark eyes so that was super fun! Also I have to say I absolutely love when you shell in the dark! It’s so relaxing to me! Thank you for the awesome video!
Thank you so much! Part two is going to be nuts, I can't wait to finish it and share it. It really was a one of a kind type of day, I'm glad you liked the way I documented it!
So, question- bc you shoot your videos at night and early early morning.. is the shelling not as good during the day? Like too many shellers picking through?
Wow , all those Eastern murex, amazing!! I love the bittersweets too. Still working on getting to Holden. It will probably be in cold weather but shelling is better then anyway, right?
Thank you so much! Yes the shelling is better when it's cold. Although in today's climate it is not that uncommon anymore to hit warm stretches with highs in the 70s even in winter in the NC/SC coastline. Hopefully you'll find tons of awesome stuff!
So, question- bc you shoot your videos at night and early early morning.. is the shelling not as good during the day? Like too many shellers picking through? …. And is there not anyone on the beach when you go? All these amazing finds to yourself …Also I’m dying over the giant murexs’ that is the one shell I’m wanting to find
It's definitely better the earlier you go, though in popular shelling areas like Holden there's going to be competition 24/7. I wanted to catch the low tide which was before sunrise, and I do tend to have better luck early. That being said I have had really good finds during the day on beaches that had been combed over many times so you never know! Thanks for watching :)
What a fantastic haul. That murex was huge. Beautiful variety and they should clean up well. Congrats!
Wow, great finds!!! Looks so fun!!
Thank you so much!

My nana loved the lettered olive shells. I was always partial to the shark eye moon snails. You got some beauties.

I cannot wait to finish up part two, it was actually the highlight of that outing! Thank you so much for watching!
Beautiful shells what do you do with them all 😊
I display them on shelves or have them in jars, and some just go in bins (I like to sort them by species). Thank you for watching!
Those Giant Eastern Murexs are amazing!!
It was amazing to see! Thank you!
Spectacular finds! Not even half way through thus half! 😊
Thank you so much!
😊😊😊 Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Wow!!!!! Those are some amazing finds! But I have to mute the sound because the walking on shells and crushing them gives me anxiety 🫤😂
Thank you for watching and for the feedback!
Was this a winter hunt? I was amazed and excited about the huge shark eyes and the giant eastern murex shells!
Yes, this is from winter. Those shark eyes were so fun, they're so hard to find intact when they're that size.
So, question- bc you shoot your videos at night and early early morning.. is the shelling not as good during the day? Like too many shellers picking through?
Beautiful shells
Thank you!
Is there public parking on Holden?
Yes, there is plenty.
Thank you so much! All those shells were the bomb🎉🎉🎉
Wow, these are amazing! What time of year did you go? Love those giant eastern murexes!
Winter, that's when the best shelling is. Thank you for watching :)

Please if you don't want a shell , lay it down respectfully. Thank you.
????! Hi! Love your vids!❤ We live here in Holden and I was wondering when this was filmed? Thank you🎉
Thank you! This was winter. My apologies for not clearing that up, I'll add a note in the description.
I noticed you don’t pick up the all black scallops or clams. Is there a reason they’re my favorite cause they’re so unusual they stand out.
I have so many discolored ones that I don't feel the need to pick up every one. That's awesome though that they're your favorite!
