I wouldn't call vinland saga underrated, i think it's perfectly rated as everyone who watches it loves it but it isn't as talked about as much as it should be
@@thorkagemob1297 on mal it's 8.73 and to put it into context only 11 anime have a score 9+ and it's in top 50 at no. 43 , though mal is mal but i think it reflects quite well how the community how high of a regard it's held in and it's only the first arc so i don't think it's underrated
It simply had different demoghrapic which is seinen and mostly they are stick with the manga like S1 kingdom literally unwatchable but manga sales always be top 10 each year

Vindland saga openings and endings are really good. I really like the endings a ton because aimer and milet did them and they go hard on the songs they do and they always do their best when making a song, both amazing artists 🔥.
The fact that Vinland Saga second opening has Newfoundland and Labrador mentioned in it gets me every time. Its like how in Baccano they were in there too.

it's underrated because it prioritizes narratives, character's motives and philosophy over fight although it has intense battle. That's why i think vinland saga season 2 will be more underrated because it will have less fight scenes than season 1. Season 2 will focus on thorfinn along with some other amazing characters but all these shounen fanboys will give it negative points because it will have less fight.
I legit feel bad for the 2nd opening. It's not bad op, but man, Mukanjyo's standard already really high and it's impossible to top it by another song. It's really really amazing and memorable.
