Vinland Saga is incredible. You have some GOOD stuff coming. Not to mention, it is absolutely STACKED with unreal openings and endings. Huuuge fan of River and Drown personally but they're actually just all fantastic.
"oath" is an amazing episode, but I think the best thing about it is that the season cooks with it from there. like, all the conclusions aren't really conclusions... they're ingredients, and there's more. it's an amazing story... I love hearing people speak about Vinland Saga in this way. sometimes, when watching certain shows, you'll get hit with an overwhelming sense that the people who make art just really love the people who will consume it someday, because they put so much care and excellence into the thing they made, and it's all meant to speak to you. a lot of Vinland Saga makes me remember that. episode 17 will be a real standout, and the season finale as well.

Yes! For me vinland saga is number one anime out of 150 that i watched, everything about it is good, all4 ops (are on my playlist 1>4>3=2) all ends ect ect. Was waiting for u to watch s2 and hear your reaction just about the anime, its just too special.
Love the anime opening style, the first and second verses are similar, with a little spice. But the big punch is always the legendary 3rd verse, never the same in any anime opening, its the real reason to hear the full versions.

My opinion is that Vinland Saga is probably the best thing I've watched almost ever. Season 2 has been significantly better than season 1 because my brain will never stop thinking about it and I'm always contemplating the message during the regular parts of my day
