Every time I go fishing and I don't catch there's always Jeremy Wade to provide inspiration and motivation!
I can relate so much to some episodes. When Jeremy Wade was fishing for Muskies, and he said it was the fish of 10,000 casts, I was like YES.
Then he caught one on light tackle when he wasn't actually TRYING to catch one. Lmao, I was like YES, that's what it's like, exactly. 💯
I had a muskie on once, when I was fishing for small mouth bass. I was reeling in about an 11-12" bass, (I saw it jump) and all of a sudden, it felt like my line was stuck. 🤔🤨🤷♀️ I brought my then boyfriend along, who wasn't a fisherman so he had no clue either. I just sat there like whut ? Then my line took off and I was even MORE confused. I was holding my rod, my drag was set snug, but so a big fish could take line. After probably 10 seconds or so, it stopped and it felt like I was stuck again. I was totally baffled. Then the bass jumped again and I reeled it in.
It had 2 sets of teeth marks from the tail end. 😳😳
So later when I went home, I discussed it with my dad, who said it had to be a bigger fish that took it and ran. We both figured a muskie, because few, if any other fish in the river I was fishing, grew large enough to take an ~foot long bass and run like it did.
Plus, I was using a topwater lure, a jointed/broken back minnow. I was fishing the Juniata river, where we had a camp, it's a tributary of the Susquehanna River in PA. It's usually muddy and you wouldn't get catfish hitting a topwater lure.
Once when I was older, my cousin from MD came to visit my grandma, the camp was her and my grandfather's camp and my cousins spent many summers fishing with my brother and I who lived close to our grandparents. He said he had been to the river fishing, and legal sized muskies (30" or above) were following his lures into the boat, but they wouldn't strike. So I went along with him the next day and sure enough, these nice sized muskies were following our lures but wouldn't strike. Needless to say, it was very frustrating and I said some choice words 😂 My cousin said "SUE, I'VE NEVER heard you say THAT" 😂
So yeah, I totally understand Jeremy's frustration. 😃👍🏻
Jeremy Wade might be one of my favorite humans ever not even gonna lie

🙄🙄🙄
Lets take a moment to appreciate the fact that they always re-enact the stories 👏
I'm going to fish from the spot where the 200 pound tree stump was ripped from the shore.
Gotta love this plan.
“The lifeless body of Jeff Archer was last seen being dragged across the lake against the wind……” (said in a Jeremy Wade voice)
@@derin111 I was freaking out about which of my comments got this response.
Then I saw it's ok. Just fishing.
@@jeffarcher400 🤣🤣🤣
4:50 all them scenes fading into each other like he’s been at each spot for hella long, but the damn clouds ain’t moved an inch...
Clouds in Alaska don’t move.

Aldo the Apache nope, they move. I live in Alaska
Rodney A I think it was a joke
@@rodneya9022 Actually they don't
0:16 That does not look like a fish, its a tadpole with hind legs.
Exactly what I thought. I've seen much more fish shaped lakes that no one has mentioned.
Nope it's a fish
It big,scary, and pink :D

In my opinion the lake looks more like a tadpole but I can see why people would describe it in fish legends. Non the less, I'm still a huge fan of Jeremy Wade and River Monsters. He's one of the main reasons why I'm a passionate fisherman.
Damn the video and the quality kept getting better. love your vid
Toujours un énorme plaisir de voir Jeremy. Sa passion est communicative. Il est infatigable, je l'adore ! Gros bisous à toute l'équipe de River Monsters ainsi qu'à notre pêcheur préféré 😊👌👍🎣🎣🎣🐟🐠🐡🐙🦈

Great story teller
Yes, Jeremy, they have sturgeon fish down in the lower mainland Vancouver on the Fraser River out in the Fort Langely area some are told to be over 100 yrs old, I wouldn't be surprised if they run from the Fort up to Alaska. Just now, CBC the national did a report from Bar on the Fraser River, that the Socokie Salmon can't get through due to a rockslide, they are attempting to make a ridge for the salmon to jump through so they can spawn this fall, some are getting through but that's over 3 million salmon to get through that part.
If CHUCK NORRIS NEEDS HELP HE CALLS MR. WADE!

🙄🙄🙄
Gordon Ramsay and Jeremy wind would make a good chef
I vaguely remember this episode but forgot what the fish ended up being. Based on what I’m hearing here, I would guess a sturgeon?
I don’t know if he caught it but many are pretty sure it’s an undocumented population of white sturgeon, as they are found in other Alaskan lakes.
Is this item negotiable?
Water is scary
Scarier than galaxy
Full episodes please from India

Hi sir...
So how is it that in the Alaskan cold water we would rather sink then be kept on surface? Tells a lot about that place...

There are fishes that look like that...
Someone found a floating stump with a monster fish underneath somewhere lol
the monster is camera shy.
Sounds like the lake version of a marrage with the way Jeremy Wade describes

No one looks at all like Gordon Ramsay in this episode.

Bro what is the music that start at 4:43 I swear I’ve heard from a Xbox game
I found the song with shazam and a little bit with youtube it´s name is: ghosts of the night halloween all stars
It seems to be a cursed place
Do fish get thirsty?
No they're pretty sick of having water in their mouths all the time.
@@dilusha8569 yeah im sick of having air in my mouth all the time
They do drink water. Depends if they were freshwater or marine. Those that live in freshwater can't drink salt water it can cause dehydration to them while marine fish can't drink freshwater cause it causes edema.
im sure a tree stump would sink not float.
zeroitup wood floats. Especially dry wood.
it was old drift wood, that stuff can float surprisingly well
@@prcervi the more you know lol
Where is the full video
That's crazy that has to be a super strong fish to drag a tree stump into a water like at least a strong is a human or stronger
