I did some research and I came up with a theory that a yithian tried to transfer its mind with Ivy, but in the middle of the transfer, the yithian's body was killed in an attack by the flying polyps. This caused the yithian's mind to merge with Ivy's mind, forming a shared consciousness and granting one the powers and knowledge of the other.

It did mention in Luchino's 3rd letter that it sort of failed, so Manor Game 6-B was made, with Luchino, Eli, Demi, and Coordinator (we still don't know Coordinator's actual identity).

Yithians are biologically genderless and sexless, and concepts like romantic love is completely alien to them. So this technically makes the Shadow the first canonical aro/ace non-binary character
