Loved how this theme was played during one of the first few episodes of Zeta, especially when Camille's dad goes on a crazy trip, steals a mobile suit, attacks AEUG, and his hedonistic flashbacks of his sancha aptly named "Margarita" 😂😂😂
The Hyakuu Shiki ain't really old in Zeta. It has very respectable specs for the early Gryps Wars, only a tad slower than the MK II. It's from earlier in the Zeta project than the Zeta, sure, but it's even got then cutting edge Luna Titanium alloy armor that hadn't fully become standard yet. It ain't impressive by the end of the conflict when the Titans are mass producing Barzams, yeah, but it is still modern sans transformation or then cutting edge miniaturized psy commu. It is the MK II with that needed the G Defensor to catch up to the rest everything else near the end of the war, after all, not the Hyaku Shiki. Like age in terms of Zeta suits is in either months through the conflict, outdated suits like the GM II and Hizack from the in between the OYW and Gryps conflict that didnt have innovations like Gundarium alloy armor or the movable frame, and leftover OYW clunkers like the MSV suits in The Second Battle of Jaburo. And the Hyaku Shiki is in the first camp. In ZZ I think theres a better argument, it is absolutely outdated by then. Axis escalates fast.
