G'day Lance I thought about the old farm my Uncle had in Vic as I watch you doing this and as I said in the past I really enjoy watching you do any thing love this. My knee is better and the staff infection is -1 from 250 CRP level so I'm pretty happy about that side of things and I have been down the shed machining the gun metal horns to rivet on the frame for the axel boxes. All the best John
G Day John, Good to hear you will be fit enough to run a marathon soon then lol. It must be a pleasant change to be up and about and in the shed again. Must be about time you bought a tractor and followed along lol.
Hey lance thanks for sharing these videos there great,I'm fixing up a 53 harry and I'm really learning a lot, can't wait for the governor section, cheers from Adelaide buddy!
Lance, I too am waiting keenly for your next vid on the govenor setup. My fergy suffers from very bad surging before and still after a full carby rebuild.
Hi Lance, yes different threads and bolts can be a problem. The latest I have had a problem with is a steering box for my MF35 that I bought direct from England, apparently they have gone metric, all the tapped holes were metric, that's upsetting if you want to go original.
That does give you the shits for sure we have to be careful to explain some of the things that happen like that to our customers depending on why they are repairing the tractor.
Another fine job Lance. That tractor will think it's birthday and Christmas have come at once :) You might be finding different sized heads on the bolt, but at least you're not finding course in fine, or tother way round as I have. Some of my bolt heads aren't Whitworth, AF or Metric lol.
G day Malc, yeah the old girl will think its Christmas alright, Ill just put along with it. I don't know what is going on with this one there are all different bolt and thread sizes I'm finding but not to worry it will all be sorted out as I go.
Hello Lance, London calling again, well somewhere in rural England actually; currently on the Isle of Wight to be more precise. Made me laugh and cheered me up immensely to see you trimming the excess gasket off your joints. I now know that I am not the only one that is daft enough to do this - I always do this inane task. Keep on videoing and passing on your wealth of knowledge mate. Until next time…England out.
G Day Chris, Well I'm glad not to be the only nut case as well lol. It does make a far nicer job of it especially if you are going to paint it at a later date. Australia Out.
Hey lance, another great video, I’ve unfortunately snapped the head of the bolt that fixs the thermostat housing to the tractor, do you have any advice on removing the Broken bolt? I’ve been oiling it regular but with no joy, been told a little heat may help? Thanks
ciao Lance, gran bel video, anche io sto restaurando il mio (era di mio padre) TEF20. Mi sai dire la sigla del tuo sigillante (nero appiccicoso) che usi nel video per la guarnizione della pompa. Grazie mille
G'day Lance I regularly use possum piss around the shop myself. I was wondering what you have around the shop that could be called possum poo? I would consider some kind of nasty smelling grease as a good candidate for possum poo!
That silastic stuff should be banned. I must admit years ago if doing a thermostat or something like that, I would have used it. Great if for some reason you don't have a new gasket. But it's not really such a good product.
G day Peter, Yes I have been guilty of using it in the past but there are better things to use now. (like 10 gallons of aviation cement like in my video )lol
I was expecting you to bring out the tube of R51. I had never used that stuff before, until just last week. Side cover on my motorbike started pissing oil out. A new gasket and some R51 fixed it up real nice, and much better than silastic. A few years ago I knew a bloke that worked in a motorcycle repair shop. He told me of some of the horror stories where silastic beads had gotten into the oil system and blocked orifices. Funny how camshafts and valve gear can't run for very long without an oil supply.
Great series, enjoy them very much👍
Cheers all the way up from Denmark
We have our Crown Princess Mary from Australia and we love her😊
Thanks, Yes your Princess Mary is lovely indeed glad you like the videos.

G day Mark, Glad you like them, the governor wont be too far away I just need to find a good way of explaining it simply so see how I go with that.
Lance, I too am waiting keenly for your next vid on the govenor setup. My fergy suffers from very bad surging before and still after a full carby rebuild.
Loving the Fergie series! We had one when I was a lad. Thanks!
Thanks Scott, Glad you enjoy them.

Thanks Roy.

G'day Lance. I was sort of expecting to see you purge the water jacket on that old tractor.
G day Harrold, Not really game as yet as they get a bit frail, when I get it running and nice and hot we will flush a few times.
Good video Lance, looking forward to seeing how you set up the engine governor
Thanks Michael, shouldn't be long I just have to work out a good way to explain it lol.
Lance could you do a clip on how to remove and install an intake and exhaust on a TO20?
G day Justin, I only have TE20 tractors at my disposal but I could do something on one of them.
Bundy Bears Shed that would be great thank you so much Lance

Sorry to hear that try and buy a left hand drill set, make sure you drill dead center if it is open underneath a normal bit will do the job.
Bundy Bears Shed thank you very much 👍
Great video again Bundy. Finding your videos quite helpful! Will you be doing any on setting the Governors of a TEA20?
As soon as it stops raining so I can film I will be into it.

It is just Aviation gasket cement, many brands of it are available.

I have some Rocol cutting paste that could well be possum poop.
@@BundyBearsShed Have not had to use that cutting paste but it sounds like the perfect candidate.
Plus, possum poop has a better ring to it.
Will old Moe pi ss work just as well
Mole is better
Could be.
Every tool has a hammer side........
Yes they do lol.
