I think the core issue with these is that they simply DO NOT WORK. All they successfully do is screw over players who are not cheating, and does nothing to stop players who aer cheating.
The sad thing is stuff like this encourages everyone to find ways around the Anti-Cheat to protect themselves. When Cheaters and Players have concerns this is terrible decision for a game. You can't stop cheating only delay it slightly, it isn't worth harming things as a whole.
Can you please give me some hints how you created that face? To me its one of the best faces in I've seen in NGS, and I'm going slightly insane trying to create something similar lol. Is it even a t2? Or is it a perfect?
What's crazy to me is Sony got wrung out by the DOJ, FCC, and Department of Homeland security, as well as faced class-action lawsuits and other court cases in NY, CA, TX and elsewhere all for introducing a rootkit to people's computers on music CD's. This was a big deal back in 2007. Nowadays though I guess it's fine if we let game companies do the same things, how else are we gonna play vidya???? Gonna play a bit of luster this weekend then uninstall. Final nail in the coffin. If it's a choice between having cheaters or rootkits, I choose to play single player games and games that are a decade+ old without this crap. I would say software that you do not understand or have real access to, having kernel-level access on your PC (ie, your property), IS a problem. It's just been so normalized that most people can't be brought to care. Think of the video games we wouldn't be able to play!!
Strange world when the anti-cheat feels more suspicious than the cheaters... I've never even come across cheaters in this game as it is (unless RMT spammers count; I stopped noticing them a long time ago but I recently saw one or two again). I wonder if I'll get in trouble merely for using an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller with keyboard binds on the paddles
If that's using 3rd party software (like many mouse software) it could definitely trigger a false positive. The silly thing is that the most exploitative thing in the game that affects the economy is STILL in the game and has existed since day one. It battles me how clouded the devs judgement of this game can be.
Headline reactions will stop on this channel as I am not currently playing PSO2. Maybe in the future when the game is deserving of mine and others' time I will return to it!

It's a decision that was made not with the player's in mind.
Thanks for the heads up.
Been letting NGS update, even though I'm not playing it currently, but I guess I'll turn auto-update off for now.

I wonder if Tweaker will come up with a way to just ... not download Wellbia.
Miss you bro its been a while
🙂
Oh. Guess it's a good thing I didn't re-up my premium, then. This will make it easier to drop the game next week.

Its unfortunate but I am feeling the exact way about pso2. One final base game hurrah this weekend?
