I have had this problem a couple of times. However, today when I came home the oven didn't work and the clock didn't show any lights at all. Pressing the two buttons didn't help this time. To solve it I cut the electricity and left it off for about 30-60 min. Then I put the electricity back on and the clock and own worked again. The power might only need to be off for a few minutes but just cutting the power and putting it right on again didn't help.

Than mine must be broke, because it dos not work. Found it...!! Not all clocks from smeg work that way. Mine is press and release the two buttons. A led in the middle wil blink and then press + or - to set the time.

The day they make cookers that don't have a clock will be a happy day! I have had a lot of power cuts this year and every time I have to reset the clock on this silly cooker. Stop putting clocks on cookers or at leat make them work without it working! Arrrghhh

Don't hold the buttons, just press once. Dot should wink and you can set with + and -
