Worst oven ever! When the light bulb stops working, all the functions stop working as well! The display gives error 9,7 and 5. It has been like this since it was brand new. We tried buying the same bulbs and replacing them ourselves but nothing changes. The oven needs to go to the maintenance for a couple of weeks to get it fixed. Then they charge us a big amount of money for changing the bulbs only as they claim! If the issue was only about a bulb why don't they change it at our house instead of taking the whole oven! We contacted the mother company several times but they did absolutely nothing! Big disappointment 😞
Why have smeg mad this so hard with the portofino? The instructions book is not any help at all. Instructions on U tube video are good but finding them is hard as well

Bonnie Botha you turn the programming knob to the right to activate the oven light. Press and hold the programming knob down for at least 5 seconds. Turn the programming knob right or left to change the setting status (*ON/OFF*) Press the programming knob to move to the next mode
possibly the worst oven ever designed. The design of the oven was already solved, it wasn't an issue in any capacity, but now they've invented 500 new issues for the sake of "simplicity".
