Thanks for making a great video all i need to do now is practice and grinde. Feels like lvl 58 is i big milestone when it comes to the Maehwa and all the combos.
TBH the way I geared up was before awakening days and was not very efficient. When I was new I explored a lot of different options. I can do a gear guide but I tried to stay away from that in this guide. it's already 26mins long XD
Great guide! Altough I dont play maewha anymore, I remember Cloud Stab -> Sticky Snowflake also being a 'Accelerator' for sticky(great word for them btw) which I dont think was taken up in the video(fast forwarded some parts might have missed). Since im already feeling picky i wanna point this out altough you might already know it. For Extended SA part altough not very useful due to Moonrise having vulnerability in the start, the Moonrise SA at the later part can be extended. Also similar with the Moonrise -> Frost Pillars cancel, u can do Moonrise and wait with the SA on and then do Frost Pillars and the Frost Pillars still gets canceled.
Good points. I did miss those in the guide, although I am aware. Been rushing to piece this together and ran into a lot of issues. So some of the section may seem rushed. It was more or less to get people aware of these things so they can test and experiment on their own.
Thank you so much for making this guide not all the classes gets this kind of gesture. I learned alot and I was wondering if you actually willing to share everything you know or are there some tricks you keeping for yourself? I know it's a weird question but I totally respect if you do.
XDxLOL Gaming it's a valid question. At the time there were a few things I kept off the guide, but not due to selfish reasons. It was mostly because they were unreliable or not a true game mechanic and more of a dysnc issue. At this time thou, this guide is old and not up to date. Somethings have changed. And I've learned more mechanical tricks to improve the maehwa experience.
I wanted to say that I'm very impressed of your pvp skills. I have watched some videos of koreans and other maehwas and no one was as good as you. I'l very much apprreciate if you can answer some of these questions by order. For how long have you been playing maehwa? Have you discovered these things yourself or organized from different sources? Who do you think is the best maehwa out there if there is one? What are your thoughts about maehwa's skill cap and where are you standing in terms of it? ?Last thing it's a bit of a big request but can you make a guide about Maehwa for Node wars / Siege / GvG
Appreciate the comment! - been player her for over 2 years now. Its my only lvl 60+ everything else is alts for specific tasks. - most things I've discovered on my own but there is a bit of information that I gathered from various sources. Somethings I picked up by talking and practicing with other maehwa throughout my playtime. - honestly, hard to say. I know a few top tier maehwa out there but the mass majority don't put out content so it's hard to judge. - maehwa skill cap is dependant on 2 major factors. 1. Key sequencing for combos which most people agree maehwas key binds aren't hard to figure out. 2. Knowledge of your opponents and effective use of your skills vs those opponents.. Without this you can't hope to succeed 100% of the time. - if I ever figure out how to reduce the performance issues of running obs recording while in NW, I will. But as it stands, all my videos have performance issues where my fps dips while recording. Sometimes it slows down my movements. During a NW is amplified due to all the effects and players. I'm working on it but looking like I might need a separate machine for recording.
Thank you, I was wondering if there is atleast one video that presents top tier maehwa pvp skills (except yours ofc) so I can see what you are talking about?
Unfortunately no names come to mind about NW content. Most Top Tier maehwa don't bother with recording or stream NW content. Vert is probably the closest one, but it's hard to get a true representation of the class because he has 272 ap. Most maehwa players will never see that. Like my gear is mid tier, and is arguably easily obtainable. And I do okay in NWs if we are fighting similarly gear opponents. 270 ap just changes so many things for a lot of classes.
In all honesty, a lot of top tier players for any class are generally selfish on content cuz they feel they will leak too many secrets or techniques. When I was making this guide, a number of players helped but some didn't want any part in it for the above reason.
First of all , thanks for the guide. I'm a new player of Maehwa ,this video is very useful for improving my pvp skills a lot. But i saw that you said you will use black horn most of the time. Here i would like to ask a question for how many APs is a good choice for using black horn cause my AP is still a little bit low around 199 193. Thanks for the video again.
Thanks! Appreciate the comment. For black horn you want to try to have 200 ap with it if possible. But if your close like 180+ that's plenty fine for pvp
Great guide, alot of Information I have to remember in fight, when it comes to gear, is it fine to use Lefty's Setup or did something signifficantly changed?
Yo so I put my musa weapons on my maewa I’m now level 57 at 241/202/306 but I’m struggling to grind how big are skill points?? Like I’m struggling at Polly’s and tshira
Thank you for the quick response. I see alot of the pre-awaken aswell as some of the awaken skills have buffs like +att speed and + acc... etc.. is it neccessary to use them or even practical during a match? in my pvp matches I usually just keep things simple and dont use any skills that gives buff for 10-20 sec but that's becuase I don't know much about the timing and effectiveness. Your thoughts?
If you watch my PvP vids, you will notice I generally buff my attack speed from royal rage every fight. I have add-ons for specific things like accuracy on stub arrow and December. These things help in some tough fights.
Hey Nayashe, so I have heard a lot about the kutum vs nouver argument. However, while people agree that kutum is much better in PVE than Nouver, how is the PVP aspect of kutum? Is kutum better than nouver in PVP? If you can provide an explanation of why it is/is not better that would be great.
Kutum is a preference for some people in PvP. But it's not for everyone's playstyle. I'll break it down. Pros - High DP, good for all our Frontal Guard abilities as Guard scales with DR and makes us tougher in Super Armor. - Medium AP - Ignore resists (does matter) - 2 gem slots - Best PvE weapon Cons: - The AP is medium but ideally you need 210-220 to be effective. - The accuracy on it is non-existent. You will want supporting accuracy from other sources besides zarka and bheg and gems. For me it's not enough. I need more ap but even at 212ap with kutum I feel like im gimping my damage. Our role is to delete key targets and get out. Not tank. So personally feel it doesn't match up to our role completely. It does however help with base disruption as we are tankier and able to dive more freely. Some people struggle with surviving and want to focus on that. I feel surviving is based on situational awareness. your only as good as your judgement and awareness. And for that I focus on AP and Accuracy to eliminate my targets quickly and get out. Good Maehwa generally have all the necessary weapons available and switch between them based on the situation. We reposition and use the distance we create to change up our gearing strategy.
Tips for use that fast Blind Thrust towards the objetive? Can't get in how to do it so fast. EDIT: Nevermind,. you need to use ^ + space when is not on cooldown.
hey nayashe....i got a question....i have both giath and griffon in my inventory but still cant decide which one....i got urugon shoes and going for dim tree armor....any ideas between griffon and giath ??
You can use either or tbh. Do you like a larger hp pool or higher dr? I am sticking to Griff for now but will see. In the future, I might rebuy Tet Giath and test further.
I played around with that and I use that sequence of attacks but I still feel it's normal speed. I'm probably wrong but just didn't seem that significant like Moonrise into Frost Pillar or Forward Attack and SSF
How dose your attack speed look so much faster than mine? Is the video speeded up? I have atk speed 5/5 and movement 5/5 and I'm slower than you, lvl 59
I use a mix. 1x RCE and Ultimate Black Horn Warrior Bow. I also use Nouver and kutum for different things and situations but black horn is very consistent.
When this video was posted 1 was enough. But now in the current meta, things changed. Urugons and griff helm were introduced and so was renown score. Now it's dp meta, so you can go full ap monkey. Try to have around 300+ accuracy from full tri accuracies and tet zarka
I can be mistaken but I feel like Blooming is terribly slower too. Thanks for the quick answer and the guide :} Actually every sequences seems much slower with keybinds.
what are you fighting that you feel you do no damage? tbh you need a lot more ap. at 170-200 that you start feeling somewhat useful in PvP. at 220+ u can keep most players. at 240 u can basically kill anyone you want.
Lol oh. well you should focus on manes, helms, elrics, wandering rogues, and sausans with that ap. group up and just sell everything to get money to enhance your gear. at 150ap you will notice a difference. just to position yourself to do back attacks to increase your ouput. use the special attack modifiers to your advantage.
Prodigy you don't need to quickslot it. I originally did just to track of cd. I don't use it on quickslot anymore due to the additional cd slots for ui
From an offensive standpoint, you pretty much never would. The skill imo is incompete and they never decided to fix it. That being said, if your in a situation where it's 1vX and you don't feel you can win, you can use tigerblade as an escape mechanic. It does not consume stamina for chase, only wp. So as long as you have wp pots u can spam chase. Also as shown in the cancels section, you can chase cancel extremely fast and basically create distance between you and your pursuers. I'd consider it a luxury skill to pick up. Not necessary.
musa players switching over because musa has been in need of buffs for awhile and maehwa is getting stronger each week basically. Also all the steam players,
I'll give you what my goal is. I don't have all of it yet. Gloves 2x jin viper Chest 2x jin cobe Boots 2x won hystria Helmet 2x jin harpia Mainhand 1x precision 1x bon carmae Offhand 1x critical 1x awakening spirit
I started playing Maehwa today after reading up on all these videos, and holy shit these are so helpful, and this class is so fun.
na gongshow glad they helped! And welcome to the baehwa fam
Great video, probably the best maehwa content on UA-cam :D
I watched Lefty's guide and I've still managed to learn a ton from this video. That's definitely worth a sub.
Thanks man. I appreciate the comment.
Ty finally found a good maehwa combo guide im ur 300th sub
Awesome. Thanks for being the 300th! And glad you found this helpful!
This video was so well-designed that you just got a well-earned sub:)
Thanks! Appreciate the comment and sub!
very nice vid helped me a lot to understand maewha combos and habilities
Nice, just made an alt maewha as I'm still deciding which class to main. Thanks for making this
Thank you so much for this guide! It was really helpful :)
been waiting some time thank you very much!
Nice ive been waiting for this :)
Thanks for making a great video all i need to do now is practice and grinde. Feels like lvl 58 is i big milestone when it comes to the Maehwa and all the combos.
would love to see a gear guide, maybe with the steps u took when gearing up from awakening. Thanks again for the great video
TBH the way I geared up was before awakening days and was not very efficient. When I was new I explored a lot of different options. I can do a gear guide but I tried to stay away from that in this guide. it's already 26mins long XD
watching this guide on chrismas
Could you possibly give a quick gear summary for levelling progression? That'd be wonderful. Great video.
are you in the musa Maehwa discord?
Great guide!
Altough I dont play maewha anymore, I remember Cloud Stab -> Sticky Snowflake also being a 'Accelerator' for sticky(great word for them btw) which I dont think was taken up in the video(fast forwarded some parts might have missed).

nice! was just looking for this
i just rerolled from my 59 musa to maehwa, its fuckin worth it :D
Awesome man. Hope this video helped with you starting out.
This is really well done but jesus my head can't keep up with all this combos and shit. Fuckin love bdo.
take your time. that's why you have a video now to rewatch for each one :)
Gooooooood stuff very helpful now a fan
Thank you so much for making this guide not all the classes gets this kind of gesture. I learned alot and I was wondering if you actually willing to share everything you know or are there some tricks you keeping for yourself? I know it's a weird question but I totally respect if you do.

you need to do like this video after meahwa reowrk
Helped alot, thanks man
Glad it helped!
Thanks, it helped a lot .

I understand, this also why I asked if there are stuff you keep for yourself becuase I actually do it myself too but only if it's insane broken stuff
nice guide, fresh 56 maehwa newbie here. im sorry what did you have on your phone for the chase cancel?
lmao I just listened too it. I meant my mouse. I use a scimitar mouse that has a keypad on the thumb side.
oh so i'll need a gaming mouse for it i see ty.
you don't NEED one But it does make it easier.
First of all , thanks for the guide. I'm a new player of Maehwa ,this video is very useful for improving my pvp skills a lot. But i saw that you said you will use black horn most of the time. Thanks for the quick reply dude. I would test if black horn is good for me now. I will keep supporting you if you will post more guide video!!
Great guide, alot of Information I have to remember in fight, when it comes to gear, is it fine to use Lefty's Setup or did something signifficantly changed?
Yeah Lefty's is fine for that. Some new accessories have come out since then thou that are really useful
Nayashe allright ty for the quick response
Great guide, thank you. Can you do a recomended gear progression guide, as im lf to play a maehwa on release in sa? thanks!
Yo so I put my musa weapons on my maewa I’m now level 57 at 241/202/306 but I’m struggling to grind how big are skill points?? Like I’m struggling at Polly’s and tshira

Tips for use that fast Blind Thrust towards the objetive?
Can't get in how to do it so fast.
EDIT: Nevermind,. you need to use ^ + space when is not on cooldown.
Yes I failed to mention that. only doable every 5 secs or when the blind thrust skill is NOT on cd.
Nice video dude, but can U take a print of your skilltree? I have a 5 weeks in the game and I still confused in the skills
I actually did a video on skills and add-ons. Mind you it is a little old but most is still relevant.
ua-cam.com/video/fsmzVe8zZOE/v-deo.html
MORE ESO CONTENT WHEN?
hey nayashe....i got a question....i have both giath and griffon in my inventory but still cant decide which one....i got urugon shoes and going for dim tree armor....any ideas between griffon and giath ??

I will go Griff too since you and Lefty are my mentors.....!!!
Is this still valuable for Xbox?
please add time stamps for each topic :D
updated :)
great guide by the way, there's one more accelerator forward auto atk + moonrise. :]
Attack speed bonus' from addon's like Petal Drill. I have a sturdy alchemist stone of destruction but i didnt pop it during any of the combos.
at what ap does she become a decent grinder?
what items do you use. pure ap or acc? thanks
I use a mix. 1x RCE and Ultimate Black Horn Warrior Bow. I also use Nouver and kutum for different things and situations but black horn is very consistent.
Do you need two tri rce? Or just one?

How do you get higher your WP?I always ran out when I was fighting to people.
gear, accessories, crystals, or food buffs.
are you going to make an updated version of this?
What do you think about pre-awak arrows?
Still use em almost every fight. They have their uses. I use em to apply debuffs and buffs to target and myself.
Nayashe thanks for the answer, also what do you think about balance patch coming to KR on 17/08? Skill fusion is with it
Sooo...binding keys spells are slower than combos ?
Its just the quickslot for Red Moon when used immediately after specific skills like, moonrise, petal drill, and frost pillars is slower.
I can be mistaken but I feel like Blooming is terribly slower too. Thanks for the quick answer and the guide :}
Actually every sequences seems much slower with keybinds.
Well blooming has a slow recovery animation, I use chase cancel after it to get out asap
can you take a picture ?
Is that the desert camouflage costume?
Charles Rene I think is the name
what is your skills addons ?
My maehwa does literally no dmg... 139 AP 177 DP.... i dont know whats wrong
what are you fighting that you feel you do no damage? tbh you need a lot more ap. at 170-200 that you start feeling somewhat useful in PvP. at 220+ u can keep most players. at 240 u can basically kill anyone you want.

Why general apricot is good in quick slot?
Prodigy you don't need to quickslot it. I originally did just to track of cd. I don't use it on quickslot anymore due to the additional cd slots for ui
oh okay about tiger blade why would i want to use it? and thanks for answering and nice video

okay thankyou
Bump
Why is mehwa popular all of a sudden?

Is this guide still good or outdated?
This is out of date. But the info is still good. I unfortunately do not have a new guide ready yet.
