The Debbie Reynolds Show was an American sitcom that aired on the NBC television network during the 1969-70 television season. Produced by Filmways, the series starred Debbie Reynolds as Debbie Thompson, a housewife married to Jim, a successful sportswriter for the Los Angeles Sun, portrayed by actor Don Chastain. Jim's boss and brother-in-law were played by longtime television actor Tom Bosley. Reynolds' comedic antics on the show were often compared to those of Lucille Ball on Here's Lucy.
Jess Oppenheimer, the original producer and co-creator of I Love Lucy, served as the creator and producer of The Debbie Reynolds Show. The series also benefited from the talents of Bob Carroll Jr. and Madelyn Davis, both seasoned writers from the Lucy show.
Despite Reynolds' objections, NBC sold advertising time for cigarette commercials against her wishes, leading to a dispute. This led to American Brands (formerly known as American Tobacco) withdrawing sponsorship after Reynolds threatened to quit the show. To compensate for NBC's lost ad revenue, Reynolds agreed to extend the airing of the program for a second year and to participate in an NBC-backed film titled What's the Matter with Helen?, in which she starred. Additionally, she relinquished her ownership stake in a subsequent NBC-produced series.

According to Google, this was a two-part story, "To and From Russia With Love," episodes 8 & 9 of the series. So, this is the second episode, #9.

I have no memory of the Debbie Reynolds show. I was a kid then. But I'm sure my mom watched it at least once, because she was all-in on Team Reynolds and never again liked Elizabeth Taylor and Eddie Fisher!
I see they only made 26 episodes.
But hey, I love Debbie Reynolds, too. I'm going to give this a try.

    Trivia from IMDB:
NBC canceled the series after one season because Reynolds made such a fuss over forcing the network to honor their contractual obligation not to air cigarette ads during her show.
