Owen Marshall, Counselor at Law," an American legal drama co-created by David Victor and former law professor Jerry McNeely, starred Arthur Hill and aired on ABC from 1971 to 1974. Produced by Victor and McNeely under the "Groverton Productions" banner through Universal Television, the series began with the two-hour pilot movie "A Pattern of Morality." Hill portrayed Owen Marshall, a compassionate defense attorney in Santa Barbara, California, who transitioned from prosecution. Throughout the show, he defended various clients with the aid of his young associates, including Reni Santoni, David Soul, and Lee Majors.
